To me it doesn’t matter if it’s in 7 overtimes or not. We lost and we shouldn’t have. We should be 11-1 right now. Period.

If O doesn’t get rid of Ensminger and get a real OC and stay out of his way, I’m done with him and will not get emotionally invested in another football season until he is gone.

Game was unacceptable. Blame the refs if you want, and they were bad, but our offensive scheme is sub par and Giles shouldn’t have been catching the punt. Poor coaching by the staff.

You think the offense didn't play well enough to win that game?

Really?

That one is mostly on:

Giles (as a PR)

The defense (from Aranda on down)

The refs

More or less - in that order.

I'm not about to throw our best coach under the bus who had 4 db's out

Downvote away. I’m signing off for a while and I’m off to do do stuff more productive. No sense in wasting my time with stuff that is out of my control. Hopefully football and basketball get their act together.

Season could’ve been very solid. Now it’s another meh snoozer

Me either. But they needed to make 1 GD stop in OT and that would have been it. The offense scored every point they needed to win that game.

That loss is on the defense in OT - Giles/Refs during regulation.

I get it that the defense played 2 games (~110 snaps). Just 1 stop. Just 1.

Being able to start on the opponents 25 yard line tends to lend advantages to the offense.

Orgeron isn’t getting rid of Ensminger.

Orgeron isn’t the answer, either.

Keep believing though

I agree about scheme, but you are dead-arse wrong about offense being the reason we lost that game. We put up 72 fricking points and scored when / what we needed to to take it to 7OT.

O will not fire Ensminger, but if they have any shred of a pulse on tiger nation, he should step aside (or back into TE role) and let Orgeron target someone new. But I will say for continuities sake, Orgeron won't like 3 off seasons in a row installing a "new" offense.

They couldn't convert of a 3rd and 5 that would've iced the game. They also couldn't get into the end zone on a 1st and goal from the 6 yard line. The defense giving up the 4th and 18 was huge, but they're not the reason we lost the game.

The issue in the A&M game wasn't the offense. People blaming the offense for the loss have absolutely no credibility.

The Florida game was on the offense, not the A&M game.

Less see, his offense scores 72 frickING POINTS & you don't thinks it's good enough. Best fricking football game I've ever seen.

I'll say this, SE called a good game in OT. But for 4 qtrs, it was the same ole song and dance. If not for a strip, scoop and score, game is not going to OT.

Change needs to be made on the offensive staff.

Plenty of injuries in secondary! However, DA called a bad game in OT. Not sure why he stuck with Man coverage after DBs were gasping for air and getting burned. Should have mixed up the coverage.

I'll give him a pass.

But offense has been an issue all season.

3 loss team in the SEC West, off the heals of an 7OT game where we scored 72 points...?

Well then get ready to be done.

I'd say this is probably your best bet.

The offense came up short on their last two point effort. I believe had the Tigers taken an 8 point lead then, the Aggies would of folded. Anyway, it didn't happen. What's what is what. Good season Tigers, and win that bowl game (hopefully NY6).

it wasn't Saturday. In fact, it was pretty creative to work around a non existent running attack most of the game.

The offense scored 24 points in regulation and relied heavily on Burrow scrambling

What about how the offense performed in regulation? We had several 3rd and outs in the 2nd half and couldn't convert a 3rd and short that would've iced the game.

I agree that it's inexcusable for the defense to give up a 4th and 18 in the final seconds, but they're not the reason we lost the game.

These threads are hilarious. What's the difference between: everyone agrees with you and no one agrees with you?
