Lou Tepper and Cam Cameron ruined these guys careers and they refused to fix the problem.

i'm just saying that a HC has to act sometimes to improve the program. only time will tell if this Canada situation was the right move or not but I don't fault a coach for making changes that are necessary.

Riiiiight. Because the offense was awesome and then went to shite when Cam Cameron got here. That’s why Miles was fired first before Cam, right?

Fair enough.

But would you see any similarities to DiNardo's promotion of Mac McConnell to OC (who also reportedly didn't want the job) to a promotion of Ensminger to OC?

I beg to disagree. our defense was terrible, the players didn't understand his textbook and dinardo refused to can him. I distinctly remember the news that dinardo "stood up" to the admin. and big boosters.

I don’t believe Miles was fired because he wouldn’t fire Cameron.

Miles had been through multiple OCs with similar results. His ultimatum between the 2015 and 2016 seasons was “fix the offense” and he didn’t do it.

Edit: And as has been pointed out above in this thread, Miles was fired by the AD and Cameron was left on staff. Orgeron then fired Cameron. If your beef is with Cameron, why leave him in place when Miles is fired?

They need to stop hiring buddies, getting them paid and get someone who will absolutely evolve this offense into something with a heartbeat.

Miles would still be here if his stubborn arse would’ve fired Cameron and installed a spread offense!!! No doubt that was his downfall!

This is more credible than the OP theory.

If I pulled down millions a year and laid an egg on national TV, I’d expect to be gone with quickness. Miles lasted at least 4 years longer than he should have.

Just like a large corporation, You have to have a chain of command, and if someone is bucking the system or the boss, then said employee needs to go.

I have a small business of 10 and had to get rid of many people because they talk negative to others behind my back making the work environment unsettled.

Based on Canada taking less then the full payout owed him, I would say he fits in the problem employee category.
