Booger and Spears both thought he should be fired last year then said he should be retained if he makes changes and now think he should be gone again all in the span of 3 games played (A&M, TexasTech, Wisconsin).

Booger owes his viewers a more consistent message.

I don't see any inconsistency here. Les made no changes.

Booger just keeps running his mouth. Said Les better change QBs or he will lose team. Now Says Les Owes LSU. If either is true or false why be so divisive and opinionated right now as LSU enters SEC play this week.
Hard to believe he is a LSU man sometimes.

What's wrong with us is that in the past 10 - 11 yrs

Our teams have won despite him. We won some games that we should have never won and we lost games that we should won.

I would have no problem with him being the coach of the team moving forward under these conditions:

-Les' headset will no longer have a microphone
-Offensive gameplan meetings will be held in an undisclosed off-campus location that he will not be a participant.
-His primary responsibilities will be scripted press conferences, PR and recruiting only.
-All coaching decisions will be handled by others.

Am I the only one starting to feel that Booger just needs to shut up?

I guess my issue is how loud his opinions have been these past few weeks, especially compared to his baseline before.

Some of you purple and gold starry eyed individuals are weird. I can see how places like Penn State developed the cult of personality around their coach because of people like you.
Yes, their "Cult" is full of weird and mysterious little gnomes...........

I noticed that you left out a couple of names there ole speck, namely Paul Dietzel and Nick Saban say Hello. and btw, I hate to say it but when ole Lester did win the fake championship with 2 losses to mediocre teams by Arky and Ky that year, he had Saban's recruits, did he not?

I don't know if you are the only one but I know that Booger and Marcus Spears have every right to say what they want and I agree with them.

It sucks because If he would adapt and change the direction of the offense he could get back to where we were 4-5 years ago

Les has underachieved for most of his time at LSU relative to the talent he has put in the NFL.

There has been no perfect season. Les has been paid very well not to piss away the talent he assembles.

What about underachieving in 2006?

While I agree that the blind loyalty to Les is cultish and weird and the OP is completely out of touch, how exactly did we underachieve in 2006? It was one of Les's very best seasons and one of the few examples of his team actually improving as the season went on. Might have been the best team in college football by the end. I have plenty of reasons to want Les gone, but definitely not 2006. Stupid, stupid example.

This is college sports, it's not all about winning every game. It's about teaching young men, and setting examples of loyalty and respect. Les does it better than anyone in the coaching profession, just ask Patrick Petterson he will tell you.

This is wrong, it's about both winning and teaching kids how to win. To work hard and do all you can to win the right way. Then if you lose you know that you've done all you can. That's not what I see on that field. I see lackluster effort, and any son of a coach like PP would say this about their coach I mean they have feelings involved. We fans do not have those feelings for Les but for LSU!!!
