Uhh, what's your point? HIS point was that we let people drive, and the risk from driving is greater than the risk of COVID-19 from playing football, therefore we should let them play football.
OK. The risk of catching Covid is far greater than the risk of being killed by an illegal immigrant yet most of you are sure quick to want to deport them. It’s not about that you say? It’s about them not paying taxes you say? Ohhhhh... I got you on that one too. 99.9-% of illegals work jobs that would pay at or around minimum wage. Anyone making at or around minimum wage pays little to nothing in taxes anyway due to tax returns. Illegals actually help stimulate the economy because most of what they make, they turn right around and spend.
You are far more likely to be struck by lightning twice than you are to be killed by a Muslim terrorist. But many of you would support a ban on Muslims coming into this country.
Also, the entire premise is skewed drastically given the sheer numbers of people driving on a daily basis compared to the numbers at any given time that are infected with Covid19. Infect the same numbers with Covid19 as you have drivers on the road on a day to day basis and I guarantee you it wouldn’t even be close. Covid deaths would far outnumber car accident deaths. Again, we also implement more and more safety regulations on cars (at a great cost to the manufacturers and ultimately to the consumer) to prevent more deaths. Why do we do that if you are not going to apply that same logic to other situations?
But this is a moot discussion. You have already made up your mind that Covid is no big deal despite evidence to the contrary. Is is the bubonic plague? No. Is it worse than a normal flu season? Absolutely. Given that we are in the middle of summer and deaths related to Covid are still occurring at fairly high rates (something that never really happens with any flu. Even the Spanish flu had a huge lull during the summer months) it’s far worse than your “average flu”.

Fact. He is a loud mouth fat boy who had his 15 mins of fame and has now flailed out. He is useless to anyone.

When Booger started talking down to people and acting like he invented the game, he was toast.

0.04% mortality rate for individuals under the age of 70. These players will die in a shark attack before dying of Covid. Booger, you’d better stay in a plastic bubble for the rest of your life pal.

They’re all against playing because they think it helps them on November 3rd.
They’ll continue with the “muh scary virus” bullshite until then.

Fans in stands will be dependent on what phase of reopening the states are in at the time of the game. It is out of the schools and athletic departments hands.

You just wrote 3 paragraphs to state you have a better chance of dieing from Covid than dieing on Mars.
You are comparing apples to oranges.
Now let's compare apples to apples. Flu has a higher death rate on kids than Covid.

I was a fan, Booger has moved ESPN far left, buying all they hysteria. No how no way a kid sitting at home is better off than with the football team that's getting tested 2 to 3 times a week, best medical care, best nutiriton, and structure. Total bullshite. U of Buffalo, 622 tests, 6 positive that two weeks later tested negative, zero symptoms, Michigan 353 tests in a row, coaches too, zero positives, another school I can't remember the name, 450 tests, 3 positives, zero symptoms. The kids are better off with their teams than home with friends and screwing around.

People, his name is Booger, stop expecting more from him.

Still unsure why everyone is acting like this thing has a 50% death rate.

Booger is worse than Ryan Clark. The only one I really like is Marcus Spears.

We thought the LSU ex players had depth and moral distinction among. We are discovering the amount of arse clowns among them.

Is the Rant board for simpleton ninnies to trash former players because you don’t agree with their opinion? I’ve never seen such retarded comments. Bring out the straight jackets and Thorazine injections.

Totally disgusting and disjointed. Talking about not letting his sons play because he would be exposed to students
So he’s not letting his kid go to school at all then?

Typical journalist who comes to believe they are an "expert" on any topic they choose to speak about.

It's significantly less than that. I've seen multiple doctors on tv say that there are a sizeable number of undocumented cases AND recoveries. Obviously none of those have died. If we're ever able to document the ACTUAL number of cases, the mortality rate will be proven to be MICROSCOPIC. People with common sense already know this.
