Les Miles to OU?
I would laugh my frickin arse off at OU fans. Their football fans despise Miles so much. I mean, you really have to live here to understand it.
They would undoubtedly embraced him as their new HC, but watching them crawfish on their long standing opinion of Miles would be epic and priceless.
I very much hope this happens, especially for coach Miles' sake.

Rickdaddy must be on the OU boards as we speak showing them the facts that Les Miles should be their next head football coach!

The timing is strange. I'm wondering if he's having some health issues.
His dad died while coaching football when he was in his 50s. Stoops apparently didn't want the same fate, considering he's not to far removed from some recent surgeries in the past.

Actually, this is not a bad fit. It's a weak conference where Miles can win by getting better players, and he can run to his heart's content because no one has a defense to stop it. Plus, he already has ties to Oklahoma.
...Not that I think this will ever happen.

The odd timing makes me think that some kind of scandal or violation will be hitting the news soon. It's like when Pete Carroll jetted out of USC right before all of the shite hit the fan.

Didn't LSU try to court Lincoln Riley for the OC job?

There is no way in hell OU would hire Miles. Miles really got exposed after the D line coach and tight ends coach put up record numbers on offense using the same playbook. That happening didn't do Miles any favors in landing another gig as HC at a big name school.

Yeah, I wasn't being even remotely serious.

Les would love to put the brakes on that offense.

According to sauces a "hush-hush"interview took place. If I remember correctly Riley was interested but there was mutual concern about a possible Stoops departure and Riley going back to OU as HC.

Is 1987 the year you were born? My SO's is 1988. Went to Loyola through 9th grade, then transferred to Byrd and graduated from there..

It is. I was enrolled to go to Loyola as a frosh, but decided to go to Byrd instead because I wanted to play 5A ball..most likely know of her. Small world.

yes, very odd timing. Scandal/violation probably. Maybe health, although I certainly hope not.
There's just no other legit excuse as to why it's happening now, and effective immediately.
