How was pelini so good his first time at lsu? Was it he just had better talent? I know he didn’t work hard under Ed but was he like that under miles and just got away with it?

again u jagoffs leave out pellini was #3 in nation in 05, 06 and 07

also u conveniently left out COVID, attrition, no spring practice and BLM issues that made the team quit on pellini and O.

The worst hire was Pelini the second time and it's not even debatable.

Lou Tepper was the worst hire in LSU history, after perhaps Curley

I will say House. Remember Bo's defense was pretty damn good when we won the Natty. He left for Nebraska after that.

Pelini 2 was a worse hire because it made no sense.

House may not have had good results, but the hire was not bad, and most were excited about it. Sometimes you can do the due diligence and still hire the wrong guy.

Pelini made Will Rogers a record setting QB.

everyone in the Pac-12 knew to play zone vs. the Pirate, but Bo 2.0 played man. his 1st time around wasn't that bad.

I hate Matt House more because had Kelly not hired him or fired him in 2022, we would have made the Playoff in 2023 and very likely won a Natty. The offense and JD5 was that good.

We literally had a defensive ranking in the 100’s. Just a top 50 D is all we needed.
