Did people not watch the game? Mizzou shut down the second string QB who has a lot more experience than the 3rd stringer who didn't even come in until the 2nd quarter. The defense was stout and rarely missed tackles.

OSU missing 5 players should not have been a difference. They recruit on par with most other top programs. They actually played very well on D and held Mizzou to their lowest point total of the year.

how did LSU fare against a 3rd string qb from texas A&M? no way we would have held OSU to 3 points. 30 points maybe.

Anyone who takes what that fool has to say as gospel deserves to be downvoted into oblivion.

Ohio State clearly had bigger, stronger, faster players overall. The 3rd string QB was a factor, but there's no way THE Ohio State University shoulda only scored 3 on that defense. Kudos to Miz...zou.

Yeah pump the breaks here. Mizzou’s defense wasn’t elite here. If Ohio state had their regular season team, they win by 40

it was as if they (Ohio St) didn't even have the backup prepared.

This was the same school that had Joe BD Burrow sitting the bench

congrats on letting everyone know you have no idea what you’re talking about. Dwayne Haskins, CJ Stroud, Marvin Harrison Jr, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jameson Williamson before the transfer, Jaxon Smith Njiba, and Terry McLaurin….. yeah not a passing team.

While anyone would be better than House, don’t forget, LSU hung 49 on that defense on their home field.

This is bullshite. Matt House may be retained. In fact, while I’m not happy about it, I think he will be. But if he is, it won’t be because LSU can’t afford the buyout for a defensive coordinator.

Now they could be waiting until after the new year when the buyout decreases. That’s only smart economics. But either way, if Kelly really wants House gone, boosters would raise that buyout in a New York second.

You are simply repeating shite you accept as gospel because some other idiot posted it. I don’t give a shite about upvotes/downvotes but happy to be your 32nd downvote while you are still 0-fer on upvotes.

UGA has very few key players out. FSU has 33 opt outs. UGA opt outs are mostly backups who are in the portal. This will be a nothing game.

They did what anybody with a brain would do. They pressured a freshman 3rd string QB thrown into a game he never thought he'd be playing in.

Do you honestly think LSU could have held Ohio State to just 3 points in that same situation?
That's not even what he's saying. He's saying chill out on the over praising.

Ohio St didn't have their best player nor the starting QB, nor the backup QB. Mizzu SHOULD have held them to three.

I know yall don't follow football outside of LSU, but Ohio St didn't have a good offense this year. They weren't in the top 25 scoring offenses this year, nor were they in the top 35 total offenses. How do you think our true freshman QB Collins would be if he was thrown into the game vs a top 40 defense without Malik Nabers or BTJ? As a matter of fact, do yall not remember Mett in 2013, he got hurt, and we had to play Anthony Jennings for the bowl game?

Even aside from FSU getting screwed, this game proves even these supposedly “big” NY6 bowls outside the playoffs don’t mean shite. I’m not complaining. Fine with me. And in light of how they got screwed, FSU should be able to opt out.

frick the networks and the NCAA and their BIG GAME!! bullshite. If it ain’t the playoffs, it ain’t shite.

Now our game has meaning to LSU fans. I’m watching with interest because it’s essentially a 2024 preseason scrimmage and a huge audition for Garrett Nussmeier.

LSU athletics is a 100 million + a year business. Money isn’t a factor in changing the defense. I don’t give a shite what Moscona says. If Woodward and Kelly want House gone he will be gone.
