Not cherry picking, you’re making false equivalencies. You’re equating a couple mistakes to games of bad football. We went 0/2 in the 2minute defense vs OM, we gave up 60% on 3rd down when they came into the game converting 35%. We gave up the lead after the offense erased a 24-7 hole the D created. We gave up 426 yards and 30+ points vs OM and gave up 60% on 3rd You think that’s winning defense? We gave up another 400 vs Kentucky and 27 points with 0 sacks in that one. Were 0/2 in the 2 minute game again, gave up multiple leads in that one. Thats 413.5 yards allowed, 29.5 points allowed and 0/4 in the 2minute D. Again how can you win games on the road in the SEC with a D like that? Those are year 1 Matt House numbers.

2025 Season
Clemson — W 17–10
Ole Miss — L 19–24
Vanderbilt — L 24–31
Alabama — L 9–20
Oklahoma — L 13–17
Defense did more than enough to win all but the Vanderbilt game from this list
How can you look at these scores and conclude that Baker is the problem?

We scored 7 points against statistically one of the worst defenses in the SEC.

I’m not saying the defense isn’t to blame. They have their share of bad play too, but acting like it’s all on the defense is ridiculous.

Another double standard, the offense produced 213 second half yards and 17 points yet you credit the defense for these things while absolving them or waiving away the 298 and 24 they gave up in tue 1st half.

There is no double standard. I’m not absolving them of anything
OP’s topic is how bad the defense has played. My comment was that the offense has played poorly too.

You said equally. In the losses the defense has played at a level you cannot win with. The offense hasn’t

If you don’t force a punt for an entire half it’s hard for the offense to get rolling on the road. You’re playing gotcha but it’s not going to work.

Im not playing a gotcha.
Answer the question. You said the offense played will enough to win. The offense only score 24 point. Going into the game, did you truly thing 24 points on offense would do the job?
Also, find in this thread where I said equally. Because I never said that

You claim to not be playing gotcha while playing gotcha. TikTok brain man, it’s something else but here’s what I actually said.

Just give me anyone who will call man 2 man, rush 5 and mix it up
no fricking tampa 2, zone is too hard for college kids to understand. The only team to really play a zone well was the 2000 Baltimore Ravens
