I assume all of us have had huge disappointments in our lives at some point in time. I'm sure Kelly has a terrible feeling right now and this message was pure class.

Stopped reading after first two sentences with what’s come out about how lazy and disconnected he was.

I assume farewell speeches, apology letters, and the like from public figures are always written by agents, publicists or other paid representation.

Classy move. Hilarious that he used the word "family" in the first and last paragraphs.

Who the frick is he kidding? The only thing that frick was all in on was his fat hands into the piggy bank that idiot Woodward gave him.
Like him or not, no one should deny Kelly half assed his way through a very mediocre job at LSU. And you don’t make $10 million for half arse work.

Classy move.

This program could have completely fallen off the rails following Orgeron (see Auburn or Florida), but overall Kelly kept us in a decent place. It certainly didn't live up to expectations, but the roster is in a much better place now what what he inherited when he took over and I'm grateful for that.
Absolutely!

The image consultants wrote that, not the guy that told us we are spoiled.

yep, and he is going to try to get all of it.

Yeah, I mean he, and the University, signed a contract.

The "morality clause" is very open-ended and subjective, so LSU is going to be taken to task for that I would think if they use that to try and reduce the payout.

Accepting a lump sum instead of a progressive payout is a different kind of negotiation.

I had such high hopes, when he was hired. It sucks that he didn’t work out.

While I wasn't a big fan of Coach BK, this was a classy farewell.

It's kind of like when you date a nice girl, but the vibe is just not right. I wish the best for him going forward!

There was no reason for him to have a a sense of urgency. Same with Jimbo Fisher. Same still with Lincoln Ripey or Dabo.

When you make a business deal that bad with these coaches, you are on their timeline. It toon Harbaugh 7 sesons to beat Ohio State but he eventually beat them and eventually won a national championship by hook or crook.
