Well, you might have to choose another board, because some of these Jabrones are hopeless.

FWIW, I passed through Hernando twice today.

I couldn't find any salary info but I feel confident LSU could offer a substantial bump over Long Island University. Head coach or not everybody likes money.

People on the rant say he’s shitty cause he’s at Florida. That’s all. Dude could recruit like nobody’s business and LOVED LSU. You people are assanine to think this cat wasn’t a good fit here. House is definitely the answer so no worries baws!

It amazes me how people forget how many recruits he whiffed on year after year the last few years he was at LSU. Stingley was a die hard LSU fan his entire life and Ricks loved Orgeron since he was a little kid. Outside of those two DBs he missed on pretty much every target he set his sights on. Raymond is the reason our defensive back room is in the shape it’s in. And then you people forget that he had 5 stars Stingley and Ricks regress every single year.

you mean bring Chevis The Chef Jackson back

100%, he's earned his chops on the field, now he's earning them in the coaching ranks. A Mobile native, that can help lock down some more recruits from that area. I totally agree to bring back Chevis Jackson. The Brotherhood

Think to yourself why a guy with so much experience at big time football schools has never gotten a DC job?

Kentucky’s QB is awful and their RB was breaking records against the Florida D.

Stupid stat to bring up

People want to credit him for the peak DBU of the Cooper years. Raymond always had a two-deep of NFL talent and they rarely played up to that potential. But their play was certainly better than we're seeing today. No argument on that point.

A couple of posters here have posted the listed recruiters for recruits of that period and Raymond is rarely named but I do assume he played a significant role even if he's not listed as the primary.

From the outside looking in Raymond seemed to be Ryan Clark's window into the locker room. That's a deal breaker all by itself.

Yes.

Corey Raymond is also a below average secondary coach

And that’s where you’re off. That’s an emotional response and not based in fact.

He’s a well above average coach - fact. He helped get incredibly talented guys here and develop them - fact. And he played an important role in creating the culture of DBU.

DBs looking pretty good at Florida. Saying he’s a shitty coach is asinine

Biggest lol post you’ve made. The only offenses with a pulse they have faced have all put up a lot of points on them and none of the teams they’ve faced this year so far are what I’d call “pass heavy” offenses. Their strongest pass offense they faced is probably SC who is mediocre at best at passing. Tennessee is complete arse at passing, Kentucky is run heavy, I’m not even going to acknowledge Vandy, McNeese, and Charlotte. Utah ain’t exactly a passing juggernaut this year. So let’s not get carried away with exaggeration here.
