To appeal to his best QB and best WR to both stay and be the nucleus of his offense. Boutte is not in the portal BK just talked to them both as leaders he would like to have on his team.

which is what exactly? short quick passing game? They both are about the same as far as mobility goes but Brennan definitely makes quicker reads and has a better arm

I hated what happened with Brennan busting his arse on the boat dock, but if that unfortunate injury doesn't happen, we likely still have O.
No way we lose UCLA, Auburn, Bama and Arky with him behind center.
In fact, we probably win at least 3 of those 4 games.
With that said, I think we'd be crazy not to welcome him back with open arms.

If BK can get Brennan back for next year then he has already earned his first 9.5 mil in my book, because that sets you on a path to win a good number of games next year.
