Freeman received a nice little gift from the bone headed decision that Penn State's QB gave him. Even my wife was commenting on how badly their QB sucked last night. With even competent play Notre dame loses that game.

This UGA is no where near as good as the past few years. They had a backup QB and were barely able to score points the last month or so.

This is probably one of the most important stats available when evaluating a coach's abilities. Very average coaches, in talented infested state, can win 3/4 of their games on shear talent alone. Winning games when teams are of equal talent is where coaches separate themselves.
Obviously, BK has not proven to be a very good coach. The record doesn't lie.

Those losses occurred in 2017, not 2020 or 2021.

Even if you erased 2019, which certain people think is a valid amendment to the record, he was still above .500 vs ranked teams. Now that isn’t great but it’s still 25-30% better than Kelly which is the relevant issue.

That’s the danger of deifying any coach especially one who’s never won anything. You start to ignore standards you previously had and start to discredit your own programs previous success which is bizarre imo. MBB is the best example of fans doing this sort of thing. Everybody wants to hope and everybody wants to be loyal but blind loyalty isn’t really loyalty.
