RS was actually recruited at ???

Les Miles recruited him as a quaterback. There is a chance he gets moved around, but he is a QB right now.

Randle will never be the main cog in a Wild Tiger. He's a WR, not a RB.

I think this is right and the right approach for a coach.

He throws the ball pretty darn well... he just doesn't know how to pitch on an option!

this question is ReDodded. Shep is 50X more dangerous as a runner and a better passer

I think it would be Shep, but Rueben has a very good arm. He could've played quarterback at a decent D1 school.

the Wild Quaker

but that sounds like it implies something the real Quakers would kill over

+1, I personally think he can sling it.

-1, he ran the option all the time with that awesome RB he was with.

What was the RB's name with RS???
I'm drawing a blank.

because he has a good arm.

This remains to be seen.....cause he sure didn't show it in the UA game and most of the film I've seen of him has him running making big plays with his legs.

Randle, Miles already said he would get a few snaps at QB and I'm guessing a wild tiger is what he means.

Randle has good speed and a little bigger and stronger than shep. Plus its not like having Murphy back there where we know he's going to run 100% of the time. Randle certainly has the option of throwing it

JJ, KW, RS and RR all on the field at same time. Who's running or throwing? Good luck DCs.

I was jesting about the fact that when he ran the option, the best option was for him to run crazy and he did. In all the clips I saw he never pitched once. That's all.

In the open field??? in a triple option formation??? who is better??? is this a serious question? Possesion reciver randle hands down, over the middle, post, skinny post, hitch and go. but out of the backfield and in open space it's sheppard and it's really not that close. You only one ball at a time might as well put it in the most electrifying player ever to wear purple and gold (assuming he plays like i have seen)

You guys do realize what dixon did for oregon?? he was a one man wrecking crew. I believe shepard is even better.

Good luck trying to stop him in the open field.

Both of them on the field is a bigger wild tiger threat itself. Think about all the gadget plays that can come out of it with reverses.. and reverse passes.. sweeps.. too many impact players to watch out for.

This thread makes me laugh. Shep is the answer, but the way you guys dismiss Randle is hillarious. You might want to go check his highlights at QB this past year. He ran the same offense that Shep ran at the same position. Randle had a better completion percentage and threw for more yards than Shep. Shep did run for way more yards though. Like I said, Shep's the answer, but not as clear cut as you are making it out to be.
