man.

A buddy of mine lost his brother tonight very unexpectedly. It's a horrible loss to the community here, also.

The Watford tech was deserved (and a dumb decision), but the call on Leblanc was weak as shite. That was a ref flexing, nothing more or less.

Agree 100%

LeBlanc looked like he even intentionally just left his hands straight in the air when he realized that he had half arse celebrated for a split second.

This is not a "big win".

If that's how low our expectations have gotten, then we are in trouble.

I get what you’re saying, but the NET ranking will disagree with you. On the road, 14 Pt win, that’ll be borderline quad 1 W.

It's a big win because it's a quad win and even more importantly it's how we won that made a big win.

You know nothing about college basketball.

Nice road win, pulled LSU into a tie for second place.

Every win, for the rest of the season, is a big win. We are playing for ceding in the tournament.

That game also was big because the team needed to get back to playing team ball. That is the best they have played in a while.

All conference road wins are big (though some can be bigger than others).

LSU played as well as they have all season offensively. MSU is a solid defensive team and LSU simply carved them up from start to finish. Shooting 62% is insanely good. Even moreso on the road. Hopefully they saw what could be the result with just a little more unselfish play. MSU was helpless to stop them.

But, I was VERY disappointed in the defensive play. Not so much the play, as the stupid useless pressure approach and unnecessary overplaying everything that they had seemingly gotten away from vs. Texas Tech and Alabama. LSU was really good defensively vs. Texas Tech (for 39 minutes) because they manned up and guarded rather than their usual undisciplined sell out for turnovers at all costs approach.

With the way LSU executed on offense last night that game should have been a blowout starting around the 10:00 mark of the first half with an ever increasing lead. Instead, they allowed a weak MSU offense to shoot 53% and hang around FAR longer than LSU's offensive performance should have allowed. The REALLY poor defense gets overlooked because the offense was just so good last night. But I thought, even in the last two losses, that LSU had kind of turned the corner a bit with their defensive approach. Last night shows WADE hasn't.

You aren't going to shoot 62% every night. Probably not again at any point this season. Don't get me wrong, a SEC road win is BIG. But it still appears this team is only capable of playing well on one side of the ball a game...but rarely both.

Anyone know what the bench did to get a tech? The announcers seemed confused.
