Well it seems there will be damages if they decide to kick us out.

and pray anyone worth a shite would even schedule us?

yeah LSU gets huge TV ratings.
because LSU vs Alabama is something people want to see.

they don’t want to watch Alabama vs Furman or LSU vs Northwestern State.

they want to watch them play each other.

and if LSU can’t fill a schedule with a similar amount of top level games, then those ratings will go down.

Sadly some don't and believe we could make it without the SEC

LSU is not much different than Nebraska or Oregon when it comes to academic rankings

Oregon is AAU

Nebraska was AAU and is about to rejoin

LSU has no realistic path to be an AAU school.

I dont. I think that's a dumbass boomer thought process that has no basis in fact or consideration for the changing landscape in athletics

AAU is not a criteria for joining the B10. A simple google search would have kept you from repeating the same shite a dozen times today.

and Nebraska is currently the only school without AAU status (they had it when they initially joined but lost it); the Big Ten won't add a school without AAU membership.

The BIG 10 would have to want LSU

They would be absolute giddy if they could add us. If would give them a foothold smack in the middle of the "SEC" territory and leave a big hole in the SEC lineup. Would be a big upgrade for the B1G and a big downgrade for the SEC.

Regarding academics, they would admit us on probation and it would be an impetus to upgrade our academics. Nothing insurmountable.

And FTR, AlwaysATgr much prefers we stay where we belong.

WRONG

It would be the best thing to ever happen to LSU sports

Not officially, but it essentially is. You'd have to be a strong academic school to be considered.

LSU will never be a BIG TEN member. Give it up.

They would never make up the money lost. Thats the issue, and I’ve hated this league for years.

And again, there is not much difference in rankings between LSU, Nebraska, and Oregon.

I don't think LSU is leaving the SEC. Its just funny to me how people can speak so confidently about an issue they are clearly very ignorant in.

The difference is AAU... Nebraska is working on regaining status. LSU never HAD and probably never will have AAU status.

But I’ve gotten so used to chanting “SEC SEC SEC”…maybe “B-1-0..B-1-0..B-1-0” will be a thing?

Which isn’t a requirement to join.
