how many would skip have? no way to know the answer to either question.

what we DO know is BLanco's post season record.

Paul had as many CWS appearances at Notre Dame in fewer years than Bianco.

Pretty damn impressive to maintain a HC position in the SEC west for 20 yrs.

Were you happy with PM hire? Bianco has better credentials than PM did when LSU hired him

More than 1. CPM took a northern school to Omaha. CPM hasn’t coached at Notre Dame for 15+ years and still has the same amount of Omaha trips there as Bianco has had at Ole Miss.

Really? In what way are Bianco’s credentials better? You do realize coaching at Air Force and Notre Dame have slightly more challenges than Ole Miss right?

Our fanbase is retarded hating on Bianco.
Just bc Ppl are pointing out his flaws & deficiencies as a HC & also giving their opinions on whether or not he will be successful at LSU does not equate to ‘Hating’ on him.

I keep hearing people saying how impressive his record is, as if being at Ole Miss is a hinderance. How did Arky, Vandy, South Carolina, and Florida all build contenders in the same era?

Orgeron couldn’t win a conference game at Ole Miss then put together the GOAT college football season at LSU.

Imagine what Bianco could do.

football fans acting like this is even remotely similar are going to be a problem as this unfolds.

Some act like they would melt over the hire. He has made the regionals 18 of 24 yrs as HC. I think it is very impressive with what he built at ND. I believe he learned from Skip on how to build a program. I don't have a favorite for next HC but I wouldn't melt if he was hired.

Damn the sec has some great programs huh...and Bianco still has done well. They have 4 teams they regularly play that have won national titles in last 15 years in their conference.

thats exactly why this hire is so critical.

the sec is better than ever and the west is loaded. LSU is the marquis program in NCAA baseball and the sec is the best conference. They should be able to go out and get any coach they want. You dont go out and hire a guy who is maybe the 3rd best coach in his division.

if he didnt go to school here, he wouldnt be a serious candidate. Change my mind.

And Bianco gets past that to host NCAA postseason play and routinely loses at home to teams like Tennessee Tech.

Bianco built Ole Miss into a contender. But they’ve been a contender since about 2005. All those years of a top contender and only one Omaha appearance.

But I do hope they make it #2 this year.

I would be very happy with a Bianco hire. He is clearly a good coach and I think his shortcomings at Ole Miss have more to do with the name on the front of the jerseys than with his management of his teams. If he is truly not fit for the job, then Skip, Paul, Mcdonald and a whole host of others will say so in private. Just my two cents.
