One WS trip in 20 years. That’s a major step down from Pawl. Way too laid back guy. Need someone young , hungry, and energetic to bring some life back into the program. The Box has been dead for years. Hey Woody hell to the NO on Bianco.

Ask yourself this. If he hadn’t played and coached at LSU would you want him?

I’m all for hiring a coach that has ties to LSU but I want it to be a guy that if I take that part away from him I still like the hire.

He is the second coming of Smoke Laval. That’s a big no to Bianco.

Bianco

Could be a key for us beating Tennessee this weekend. He had some big hits last weekend, and made some strong defensive plays.

He has built a damn good program at Ole Miss. I guess building a great program in the toughest conference in the nation is something to ignore. Our fanbase is retarded hating on Bianco.

It’s hard to recruit the best players to Ole Miss. Bianco has done well with what he has. I would be ok with him but if we can fo better then I’m all for it.

To me, that’s an impressive accomplishment at Ole Miss. By far the most success they’ve ever had in anything.

Why is it so hard to understand? I don't hate Bianco, but we could do SO MUCH BETTER! And what about the optics of A&M hitting a grand slam hiring Schloss, while we foul out to the catcher and hire Bianco?

DMC is the man!!! Come on down, Mr. McDonnell!

He has been there for 20 years and has gotten to Omaha 1 time. It’s not like he just built it over the last 5 years and they are still rising. They are who they are at this point.

I don’t think people hate Bianco they just know LSU can hire a better coach or at least a coach with a higher ceiling than him.

Not one person other than a relative or friend would even remotely be considering Bianco to be the head baseball coach at LSU. It’s disconcerting

You’re acting like he’s the head coach at Coastal Carolina. Oh wait they’ve actually won a national championship under their head coach.

Ole Miss recently had the #1 recruiting class. Stop acting like they’re lacking resources.

You people act like they coached at the same school all these years. How many would Paul have as coach of Ole Miss over those years?

This!

He wouldn't even be in consideration for LSU fans. Bianco would be a Joe Alleva hire (ex. Johnny Jones, Ed Orgeron). If he is the very best guy that will tell you yes, then so be it. But I have to think if you are willing to make the next HC the highest paid HC in the entire sport (and I'm betting LSU is) you don't just limit your options to one guy just because he happens to be an alum

Paul took Notre Dame to Omaha in his 8th year. It took Mike 14 years.
