He had no back up on those shallow left field balls down the line. He allowed one run on each vs a possible in the Parker if he missed. Pretty sure bases were loaded.

Stevenson looked scared of the moment yesterday: he isn’t offering anything at the moment. He hasn’t hit in a month & a half, bad defense.

Haha sees the ball better at the plate? What games have you watched? He’s awful, an automatic out.

The issue wasn’t when he got to the ball and the decision he made there. The issue was his ability to read the ball off the bat. One he went 3 step back on before having to sprint to the ball the other he just got a bad jump on.

He should have caught both in the air. If I recall it was a runner on third with less than one out in both scenarios so the runs may have scored anyway but the outs were the most important thing.

well maybe if you don't take a step back when the ball is hit and hesitate before running up and to the right towards the ball, he wouldn't have to worry about possibly missing the ball b/c he'd catch it easily.

He looked dumb on even the easy pop ups yesterday. I don't want him in left field today.

Been watching a lot of these games on "squeeze play" on espn, which is pretty cool, and i don't see first basemans with braces on their knee having to run into right field to make high pop up catches. and i don't see guys getting triples when they hit it down the line. Hell the OSU/Ark game had that line drive down the line for the game tying hit and you'd of thought he would have had a stand up double but the right fielder cut that shite off with the quickness and kept him on first.

Our corner outfielders have been horrendous.
It's amazing that we field a team that has two fielders that are above average, and has maybe 2 others that are just average at best.

Corner OF play has been an issue this year. Crews has been solid in CF.

I think they need to go all in on offense at this point. Jobert has been cold, but they really need him to go off. They also need Dugas’ bat in the lineup. If Dugas can’t physically play the field, then he needs to DH and roll the dice on Jobert in RF.

Stevenson earns a BB from time to time.
Bianco strikes out a ton.

Neither of them are really who I want at the plate, but I prefer Bianco in the field, and he does have more long ball potential.

Honestly Bianco is not going to offer much more on offense. If he can read the ball better in LF to secure outs then okay but don't expect him to do much offensively.

Gavin Dugas #8 Needs to step up and be the guy today in Left. He was given #8 for a reason and its a win or go home game and you need your team leader to step up and show why he got #8.

I thought Stevenson should have made those 2 flys to LF. It cost us several runs.

He moves 'cautiously' to the ball. Even on some routine fly balls he catches the ball low and almost awkward looking vice getting to his spot and getting his glove up and out in front of him. Go with Bianco today....lightning in a bottle!

Deep runs are built with dirtbag players like Bianco. I say this in most complimentary way. Dude is a baller.
