Looking to buy a new speaker(s) for my tailgate for this football season. Any suggestions? Trying to stay relatively cheap. We usually have 30-50 people at the tailgate.

Don't be that guy that slams rap songs from 6 years ago. Good luck on your search.

Someone else's so you don't have to worry about setup, takedown, or them getting stolen during the game

I got the Ion Block Rocker. Good bluetooth battery powered speaker with builtin radio.
I also have a generator but the battery lets me turn it on several hours before running the generator and it is also nice for beach trips or campouts.

We have used a passive Peavy double stack for 10 years with ZERO problem as. You'll need to buy a comparable amplifier to ensure you're woofers are maximized.
Last thing that I found out late in the game: a sonic maximizer can really make your music sound crystal clear including and mic you want to connect.

I have a 120 quart ice chest that I put 4, 6 x 9 car speakers in. Then put in a JVC car stereo all powered by a deep cycle battery. Mine cost around $350 to build and the battery runs forever. I have used it 6am to 2am tailgating. Then turned around and used all day for the Saints game. I have never ran it dead. Now if you want to put a amp on it that will really drain the battery. Not sure how long it will last like that. But you don't really need it. Even with that many people it will be plenty loud enough. Great thing about this is you don't have to worry about powering it with a generator. There are a lot of examples on youtube of these type of stereos if you are interested.
