Do you think a CB coming on a blitz makes him an "Edge?" Good lort you're insisting on dying on this hill.

Joe Addai was a wr at first right?

I remember when he was redshirting my inside guy told me he was our best RB, but I honestly don't remember

I'd put Addai in that Dev tier, though.

Perkins is a LB that rushes off the edge he also spend a lot of time in the middle as a spy backer

Not Jack Hunt but the guy who caught the ball in Kentucky was a RB and became a WR.

Uh, Devery Henderson? How could anyone forget him?

Perkins is a true freshman linebacker who hasn’t learned the position fully let but has ++ value as an attacking, instinctive linebacker who can spy mobile QBs and has speed rush skills.

This thread needs to be sacked by Harold Perkins Jr

For his next trick, he will avoid the statement he made about Spears never being a TE at LSU.

And I hope he never does.

Uh, yeah. Why he should be moved to edge permanently and not waste him at the less valuable position.

This whole "we need to develop him at LB" may have cost us the Tennessee game. NO MORE.

He was never going to play TE long term.

I added him reluctantly to the OP.

Great, so you admit he’s a linebacker and you just really hope he’s moved to DE.

Progress

Nothing?

This thread is exactly like educating the rant about the spread option in the mid-00s

I don't think we're running a 4-3 anytime soon, so no.

A "DE" in this defense is a DI, not edge

Spears was a Mega H-Back

when I was coaching HS Basketball we played SLAB when Marcus was a senior. Spears was incredble on a basketball court for a man that size

Eric Martin played RB his freshman year, then switched to receiver and played WR in the NFL

You are reaching so hard you are going to tear a ligament.

We went from Spears was never a TE at LSU and HP40 has been moved to edge, to Spears was always eventually going to be moved and I really hope they move HP40 to edge. Your “facts” have devolved into opinions that you still defend as factual. It’s bizarre.

How about you spare us the mental masturbation and just enjoy his style of play at the linebacker position?

We've had some OL and DL switch but nobody really became elite off the top of my head.

Stephen peterman was tight end and moved inside

Wasn’t barksdale recruited as d line and made the switch to O?
