Admittedly I don't attend many Saints games, maybe one a year, if that. Where is the best place if anywhere to set up a tailgate for the game. Unless it's just a better move to hit up bars, etc.

For the MNC games, people rented out entire parking lots for their tailgates.

This being short notice, good luck finding somewhere!

None...just go to Bourbon. One of the MANY reasons to hate the Superdome.

If you are looking to tailgate the options are under the overpasses or in the neutral ground between galvez, poydras, Claiborne and the expressway or in surface lots on Loyola or poydras. If parking in the dome lots are first come first serve you can always get there early and park on the top levels and tailgate there as well

It's a short uber ride, but Port-o-call for the burgers, stuffed potatoes and The Monsoon!

If you are parking at the dome, the top-level space btwn the side entrance and Champion's Square is usually very crowded and very lively prior to Saints games. Many regulars with tables of food and refreshments, but again that is for Saints games. Enjoy the game and GT!

beeRye is correct
Our group is just going to bar hop all over the warehouse district.

One note, the Rusty Nail is generally a cool arse bar, but it's where the Alabama folks watch their games. I wouldn't want to be in there on Saturday

Yea, Claiborne to Galvez along poydras on that neutral ground will give you the most room to spread out. And there is some shade that can be had under the bridges across that street
