I have seen some good threads lately that have talked about HR in college baseball and it made me want to dedicate an entire thread to us and our favorite stories of the best LSU HR's we have ever witnessed.

I shall begin...

Blake Dean and Ryan Schimpf went back to back, twice, in the same inning, against Tulane. That was easily the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Also, Mahtook clearing the Alex Box scoreboard a few years back was a classic moment.

What else you got?

I spiked my coke but I saw Matt Clark hit one that to this day I swear went over Nicholson.

Im going to assume you mean a HR we saw in person. In that case Katz, Jones, and Moore homering to keep us in stony brook game 1 was awesome.

frick Stony Brook.

Are you serious? How old are you? This thread should be unanimous.

I was in Omaho in 2000 when LSU won it. Jeremy Wittens home run. I was sitting down 3rd base line even at the wall. Saw it perfectly. Went over by maybe a foot.

Games you saw in person.

I wasn't there for the Warren Morris HR, which is the best HR ever in history of the sport.

You had to be there

Let me get this straight, you decided your dynamite post would be making fun of someone's age, which is easily over 18, because you don't feel the need to add anything of use to a thread that will be full of cool stories from LSU fans that will want to talk about it.

Great post bro

If that's the case, Ryan Patterson's walk-off against UNCW to win the regional (the origin of the opponent victory lap)

Ryan Schimpf's homer to give LSU the lead for good in game 1 of the Rice Super Regional.

Danny Higgin's lead off homer in the CWS final against Bama.

Dean, Gibbs, Clark going back-to-back-to-back in the 1st inning in the final game at The Box vs UCI.

If Zunino's would've been with a -5 I'm pretty sure it would've landed on the PMAC

Then in LSU's next at bat. Ross hits a blast that looked like a no doubter off the bat, only for the baseball gods to push it back in. Ross gets stranded at second, LSU then gets swept and it all goes down hill from there.

What pisses me off about that year is that the week before the Florida series we pushed Fullerton's shite in.

That Eibner home run was a SHOT. I was sitting in LF and I'll tell you that our left fielder never moved. I watched that ball tower over the scoreboard and I could barely see it by the time it came down

Saw Furniss hit one his last year that bounced across Nicholson and rolled towards Mike's old cage. Never will forget that shot.
