Makes me wonder if this deal has not been in the works for some time. It's quite possible that one reason we opted out of any post season play is because we would have used an ineligible player and had to forfeit any games we would have won. We still may be subject to an investigation.

LOL...can you really say that any collegiate athlete that stays for one season has a legacy? That's like you or me going into a restaurant to get take out and saying we left a legacy!

Nope, the rules state that even a representative cannot negotiate.
The more time that passes this morning the clearer it gets the author is taking a liberty in saying there was an agreement in place. This would be big news if it were actually a violation, and ESPN would be eating it up. It can be widely assumed since Lebron's agency is the biggest and the best and Simmons went to their camps, but him actually telling them he would sign is different.

I agree. I can't think of an argument as to how him coming here was a positive for LSU in any way long-term.
LSU basketball is at a very low point right now. If he hadn't come they may have lost more games, but it wouldn't look as bad as it actually does look.

Why is that funny? Buddy Hield looked better than Simmons in just about every game I've watched both of them. The dude is clutch as Frick.
