Ben Simmons will never be Shaq. Not in NBA history, and definitely not in contributing to LSU. Shaq is possibly the greatest contributing alumni of any school. Ben will never live up to him. And Ben will certainly never get a statue on campus. Ben hated LSU when he was here and just used it as his stepping stone to the NBA. He quit on our team
