Fans are frustrated and I totally get that. But to pretend like Simmons is the problem is hilariously stupid.

Right. He is only the problem in the sense that he is not good enough individually to overcome all of the other problems we have as a team.

I really liked this squad throughout the year, but looking at the season in review, we were just not very good. I am not one to jump on a coach very quickly, but I think at this time it is fair to say that we should be looking to move on at the HC position. There was no plan this year. TQ and Josh Gray were way too inconsistent for the way they were allowed to play. I still think TQ is an NBA player, but I just have to smh at his development as a player but more importantly a leader.

Simmons is an extraordinarily talented and skilled basketball player, and during his best moments I love to watch him play. But after watching him the entire season, I've concluded that he lacks heart and the killer instinct to be considered among the very best players in the country. He has long periods in games where he becomes a non-factor, and at key moments he either refuses to (or can't) take over the game. His talent and skills are apparent, and if he developed heart and a killer instinct he could be the best player in the country. But taken as a whole he isn't event he best player in the SEC. Right now I think that the two Kentucky guards--Ulis and Murray--are making bigger contributions to their team.

Actually I found his honesty to be somewhat refreshing. But it did underline what was wrong about him coming here in the first place. He was only here because he had to be somewhere for a year and it was a favor to his godfather.

College athletes aren't really students anymore and it is a farce to pretend that they are. Simmons pointed that out and people say he is arrogant. He probably is but when does confidence which every great player has to have become arrogance?

I would say perhaps when they don't expend 100% effort because they know their personal goals will be met even if their team doesn't succeed.

Billy Donovan didn't make it with two McDonald's all Americans his last year. What makes LSU so special? When we have players who suck on our roster

Boy I sure wish the team could get a real 3, who can shoot, handle ball a little, and run, and defend other 3. And not a guard trying to play that position. A real point guard and not a half-effective forward trying to play PG.And a real center who blocks shots and not a 6'9" PF trying to do that ineffectively

Real "3" Wayde Sims
Real "PG" Skylar Mays
Real "Center" Duop Reath 6'11" blocks EVERYTHING

People are going to be surprised how this team will compete!!! Watch out for Kieran Hayward!!!

This is right on target. If he had Ricky Blanton's heart, Rudy Macklin's will to win, and his talent, he would be the greatest player in the country.
