The program is night and day different than the soft arse weak drunk BK era.
It’s nice having a coach that is engaged and setting a standard

Kiffin is on a completely different level

I personally don’t like that everything is recorded and posted on socials. I prefer his locker room speeches and stuff like this during the game to stay in house. To me this kind of stuff is for players only, not for fan consumption.
But I’m sure I’m in the minority.

I understand and sort of feel the same way, but at the same time it’s a great recruiting tool.

It’s for recruit consumption more than fan consumption. Though things like this buy the fans in even more. Recruits and their parents see it and know that you come here we have a coach that is invested and has a standard for your kid

It’s crazy to me. BK SEEMED like the coach who would bring that kind of accountability and attention to detail here based on his results at ND. His teams there never had the best talent, but they were disciplined and executed. He sure as hell talked a lot about those things, but other than maybe 2022, we never saw it on the field. And it only got worse, culminating from the middle to end of last season. Talking doesn’t get it done.
4 years ago I would have laughed loudly in the face of anyone who told me Kiffin would bring that here. He’s always been an offensive mind, but his teams always had a habit of losing focus and dropping games they shouldn’t. He still trolls and does what he does, but he’s a hell of a lot more serious as a coach than he used to be. It’s not just this moment. The way he’s approached the LSU job has been different. It’s easy to see he’s trying to turn a page here and really apply everything he learned from Saban and Carroll.
The proof is in the pudding. We’ve seen the team sleepwalk through too many of these FCS and overmatched opponent games over the years. There were still mistakes last night, especially by the 3rd team and lower guys, but the 1st and 2nd teamers executed and did their jobs for 3 quarters. And the few who didn’t, like Watkins and Clark, got benched and the guy behind them got it done.

Ryno isn’t a fricking loser, he’s a phenomenal fricking loser, setting the standard for fricking losers everywhere.

Mcneese asked for a running clock, did I hear that correctly?

We paid them to take a beating and Lane wanted to make sure we got our money’s worth.

Coach Burger King looked like the right pick. After Bebe successful but crazy atmosphere he was an adult. And he thought he was hungry for a legacy and championship. He first week in BR he had a fricking affair. (Bebe wife was nuts so I get that one. ) No one saw him at facility, but you could always find him on the golf course. Honestly, any former coach on here could have probably have done better, He was a binder coach without a good binder and any work effort and it was reflected on the field.
He was fools gold. But just like all these kids were giving millions and millions of dollars to when you really never know if they’re going to continue to work hard coaches are the same fricking bullshite but it’s 10 of millions instead.

There’s no cake walk through this program. If recruits are scared off by this, then good luck. It’s the best of the best. No matter how many stars you got. You must perform to play.

There are better posters who do this. You’re not at that level my man.
