USA Today Article
Thanks for calling me an idiot when you have no idea what you are talking about, IDIOT!
Woodward has been here long enough to know about these allegations, doesn't matter if he was at LSU when they happened. As I said in my previous post what does he know? and when did he know it? because he obviously didn't do shite about it. It took a USA Today story to get anyone to start talking about it.
Were the President and AD at PSU their the whole time Sandusky was playing with little boys privates? NO, but they knew about it, did nothing and paid the price.
Have you even read the allegations? This is serious stuff, imagine if one of these girls were your sister or your daughter.
No one wants to see LSU sports, especially football, be successful more than me, but if this stuff is true, then the whole f'ing place needs to be blown up (figuratively of course).
These are NOT VICTIMLESS crimes. If true, these young women will be f'd up for life.

A lot of people in this thread hoping these investigations find wrongdoing, just so LSU has an out to fire Coach O is pretty disturbing. I hope its not true and Coach O can turn this program back around and get us winning again. Allegations and covid aside, you don't fire a championship winning coach the year after for bad performance. Y'all need to get realistic.
Until the scandal broke, most reasonable folks were fine with giving him a mulligan for 2020 but the sexual assault allegations change everything. These are serious allegations and if he knew this stuff was happening, he deserves to be fired. Period.

Davis had been gone a year when Woodward got here. I’m sure everyone in admin was talking to him about how they covered for davis beating up his girl
Everyone who got in trouble since Woodward got here has been kicked off. Parrish tried to sue the school for violating his due process rights
There is about a 2% chance Woodward goes down and about a 10% O goes down

LSU football will be fine with or without Ed Orgeron. But what a difference a year makes. From the title game to your seat heating up.

Pretty sure I saw Jacob Phillips and Grant Delpit playing in the Superdome last January and they both had accusations made against them. Did Scott W not know about these allegations?
Everyone please educate yourself on these allegations. This isn't BS like they are using to go after WW. This has the potential to be a massive cover-up and there are real victims! If you are okay with it, then good luck living with yourselves when you have a daughter someday.
I hope none of it is true, but man it is hard to see how not at least some of it is.

Pretty sure Phillips allegations were reported to the right people since the BRPD did an investigation and found out his ex gf made up some bs
Also Delpits were also reported to administrators
Both were before Woodward got here
Maybe you should do some research and learn what you are talking about

And what did these Administrators do? Tell her to get over it?
That is the issue, what did LSU administrators do when they received these allegations? From what I read, and I have read everything I can find out about this subject, that is the question that must be resolved.
Lastly, the people that need to possibly pay with at least their jobs and maybe some time in jail are those that ignored these alleged victims. I agree that Woodward is most likely not guilty of personally ignoring a complaint and at worst kept a cover-up going that he inherited.

Doesn't matter if he had won the National Championship the last three years, if this sexual assault mess goes south on him, he'll be fired so fast it will make his head swim!

I agree. Although some of the issues aren’t Orgeron’s fault directly, they will contribute to his demise. He’s made some very poor hires that are coming back to haunt him. This season is over for all intents and purposes. He can right the ship in the off season, but some changes need to be made.

I get why some would feel this way, but I dont think many coaches would survive when selfies of you and half naked women are online and your team is having the season we are having. Coach O has turned into a joke.

The tennis player involved with Davis is from a very prominent family in the tennis world, her uncle played McEnroe in the finals of Wimbledon. Her dad made LSU aware of what was going on and feels LSU failed his daughter throw in the power and influence Davis’s guardian have and it looks even worse.

O could be fired for cause and this could help save LSU with Title IX issues. Not a likely scenario but has been mentioned.
If you are a lawyer, then you should understand how remote this possibility is. USA Today researched for a year and didn’t come up with a direct link to him. Do you really think there will be a paper trail or some kind of recording leading back to him on any compromising situations?
If the admin tried to fire him for cause without this level of proof, O would sue for his salary plus damages and the settlement will come close to, if not equal his buyout. If that’s the case, then what’s the point?
The only way to fend off a court case would be to have ironclad proof that he knew about the Davis situation. What do you think the chances of that are? Very, very small. Anyone pinning their hope to this is dreaming.

How about Marshall opting out, baw? You owe me an apology for trashing me on here the other night over it.
