My section ran out of cups...
How on earth do you run out of cups? It’s Saturday night in Baton Rouge and we’re playing #7 Florida...
The guy in front of me grabbed a cup out the trash and rinsed it out

I felt bad for the beer guy in my section. Line was so long, he was pouring beers by himself and then they ran out of change. Eventually people in line just started helping the dude out and pouring their own beers

Yeah that's a fair point. I never really thought of it in the context of full cans.. who the frick throws away a full beer?

They should make beer only spots. The lines were the longest and slowest I have ever seen.
Aramark should also have a training program for their workers so the cashier does not have to stop and go retrieve or make the food. There are 10 people back there for a reason.

Didn’t buy but the SE corner drinkers were out in force. I sit on aisle and hundreds of armfuls made it’s way to my section.

Where do you sit? There are tons of beer-only stands...

why not have a keg running not stop and get it and go! Why do you have to pour it from a can? Just keep that steady stream pouring and you should have two lines. One for cash and one for credit!

It was bad. The people they had working the things were painfully slow which caused some of the problem. It is obvious they are not people with ANY experience in a crowded, rowdy bar. Two of the ladies in the stand near me looked like they would be really good at making casseroles or having you over for some biscuits and gravy on Saturday morning.

It was beer only spots where I was at in east uppers. They had a bunch of beer only stands all along the outer wall of the concourse. Regular concession stands had no lines at all.

This is a FACT. They were out of the sausage po-boy and I grabbed the last two hamburgers at that concession stand. And the pretzel was cold. This is 5 minutes before kickoff. Completely unacceptable.

One unintended consequence is people getting up during the game, even during big plays, constantly making the whole row stand up, due to needing more beer and going to the restroom.

I've never had to stand up to let people pass so many times in my life

All good though, not reason enough to get bent outa shape.

Having to pour in cups is the biggest issue, but it's an SEC rule. There will be more taps next year, the SEC's approval came so close to the start of the season, that a massive install of the infrastructure for taps couldn't happen. LSU is required to use licensed bartenders (yes that's a thing), as a more reliable supply of those is created, more people can be hired for the purpose of serving beer.

Their ineptitude is truly remarkable. Almost as mind blowing as their lack of manners or customer service.

412. I think I did see one, but all of the food lines were mostly people getting beer. I wasn't drinking, so I got pissed when I missed half the 3rd qtr. trying to get a hot dog.

ETA: It's sure an obvious money maker.

So they actually pour the cans into cups? At all the other events I've attended, they just open the cans. That's what they do at pro stadiums. That's even what they did when I went to our game at UT. SEC Craziness!

All of this.

I think they'll get much better next year.

The lines this year are the slowest in a long time. As for beer sales, they must be making millions from what I see

Nachos were cold appx 55 Minutes before kickoff. The ones at half were much better but not hot.

Beer lines in the South Upper were hit or miss. The bathroom and beer lines near 424 -422 were ridiculous. I walked to the 410-412 sections and there was no line for bathroom. Walked down the ramp, minimal lines on ground level as I walked around and back up to my section. Like someone said earlier in this post, if you scout a little sometimes you can find low lines where you aren't in a chokepoint.

LSU fans can't be trusted with cans.
