Tough year for him with the injury in fall camp and the lingering injuries during the year.

Seems like a great guy, but he’s by far the most over rated player in tigerdroppings history. He was passed up this year and would’ve been passed up again this off season.

I have absolutely no problem with his decision and hope he has great success. But so help me, all that respect is lost if he ends up in at another SEC school, especially an SEC W school.

Why should that matter? He “quit on his team”. Ain’t that what’s always said about other players doing this or opting out of the bowl game? Why is this instance different?

Because Boutte is a our star All American player who was reportedly considering leaving us for Bama. The only reason he stayed is because he got a paycheck from Gordon. Not quite the same compared to a sophomore who saw limited action due to injuries and got passed up. It is lame of him to punk out but not really the same comparison.

He didn't quit on the team. There are at least 4-5 better options in front of him and potentially more coming. What a dumb take. He got passed up and struggled with injuries. It happens. Dude loves LSU and has to go to have the best chance at success in the future.

It might be because the same respect wasn’t given to other players in the past who made the personal business decision to go elsewhere are opt out for the NFL.
