Bech was behind Nabers, Boutte, Jenkins, Thomas, Lacy, Taylor, and Josh Williams in targets this year.

Good luck to the kid. He always played his heart out, and honestly helped fill a major hole at TE for this team in 2021 being a great receiving threat.

i'm not a fan of the portal in either direction. BUT, ricks isnt' a louisiana guy playing for his childhood dream team. also, ricks was a full blown starter and decided to leave for money\ring\bama fame etc.
bech is not going to be getting more touches so he sees the writing on the wall and making a career move for that....
the situations aren't equal (and i don't give 2 shits about either ones skin color, i see purple and gold).

If you’re being generous, you can say Bech should have had more targets than Josh Williams and Kyren Lacy. That would put him 6th on the team in targets instead of 8th. That’s not being way underutilized.
