They got the call wrong. May not have mattered in the end, but they got it wrong.

that's not a rule.
the play was called an int on the feild and they claimed there was not a good enough angle to see and overturn it. just like the CJs play from 08 where he slapped the ball out of the wrs hands out the endzone.
that said, i think everyone would agree it was obviously an int.

I love how he is so sure that Jones was touching the ball when there isn't a single replay out there to verify this, but those two big divots in the green from PP's feet, those mean absolutely nothing.

The ONLY thing to remember about that play and that game, and the only thing that matters........is that the REPLAY OFFICIAL IN THE BOOTH THAT RELAYED THE DECISION DOWN TO THE REFEREE ON THE FIELD....... WAS AN ALABAMA ALUMNUS. PERIOD.
Notice there was NOOOOOOO explanation, just 'THE RULING ON THE FIELD STANDS.' WTF ?????????????????????????????????????????
The man had not one, but BOTH feet in bounds, and had clearly caught the ball without it moving simultaneously........
But it was ruled out of bounds.
K. Nothing fishy there boy...

yes it is, but it doesn't matter on this specific play.

it was ruled incomplete on the field.

Everyone is missing the real point. Julio's TD should have been flagged for block in back. Ref looking right at the block not 2 ft away. The gumps had the lead at that point (PP Play) that they should not have had. 7 no calls in gumps favor decided game much more than the terrible ruling by the replay official and SEC not responding in any manner to the complaint logded by LSU with video evidence. They didn't even acknowledge the receipt of the complain. Basically did the same thing the ref crew did.... said screw you LSU and both did. Another note of interest, same ref for this game. Does that tell you what the SEC wants to happen?

I've heard this before. Is there a link?
Its just so hard to believe that a Bama Alum could be in the replay booth.

you know it,
i know it,
miles knows it,
lsu players know it....
if we don't win by 42 the refs will decide the game. to win in bds, lsu has to CRUSH alabama.
lsu will crush alabama.
les is smart, he doesn't complain, he gets even.

...and Benjy Thibodeaux DID NOT grab Paul McDonald's face mask against USC in 1979.
But guess what? The freaking game is over. Let it go.

WOW! I had someone tell me the same thing. He was a HS referee and HATES LSU eventhough he grew up in the BR area. He was talking about how dumb casual fans were and even cited some frickin rule from the rulebook. There was no sense in arguing with him. This guy ran track and was a coach (track). Is this possibly the same person? Ticked me off when he made that argument cause a cyclops with a cataract coulda saw that it was an INT!

Bama sidelines were drawn up by drunks.

face it. we have to play 11 vs 18 (19 if you add the booth). that's what we have to overcome.
