What happened to Gavin Higgins from Parkview?

Thanks for the referral. Got all set up and it’s pretty sweet! And you’re right, they posted on discord that they had a rush of new subscribers so they were shutting it down for a while to make sure everything still ran smoothly. Seems like they fully intend on opening it back up, though.

I’ve read this entire thread and you’ve sold me. Could you please send an invite?

That’s what I’ve done in the past, but I don’t even have that option. The only page that’s in mobile view is the SEC Rant. I have the option on that page at the bottom to switch to desktop. Every other page is in desktop view with no option to switch to mobile.

Same thing happened to me and I’ve been trying to figure it out for a few days now. Can you help me out?

re: Gas fireplace won't light

Yes, it has worked. It started working intermittently last year and finally just stopped altogether. I know the knob you're talking about and it is in the "on" position. I haven't waited for 5 minutes after lighting the pilot, but I'm not sure that's the problem considering it worked last year. Again, I'm open to any suggestions at this point, so I will try that and see what happens.

Gas fireplace won't light

Posted by SoggyNachos on 12/16/17 at 1:56 pm
I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this question, so if not, please direct me elsewhere. My problem is that I can light my pilot light and it will stay lit, but when I flip the wall switch to ignite the fire, I get nothing. There are 3 terminals: TH, TH-TP and TP. I jumped the TH and TH-TP terminals with a paper clip and the fire ignited. My question is, do I have a wall switch/wiring issue or do I have a termopile issue? Or something else completely? TIA.

Eat it or toss it?

Bought some smoked tasso and sausage last night and left it in the car overnight. All of it is vacuum sealed. I immediately put it in the fridge this morning when I realized it. Is it okay to eat, or do I need to throw it out?

Issues sending MMS from S7

Posted by SoggyNachos on 11/17/16 at 6:49 pm
When I send a picture as an attachment in a text message, it's a crap shoot if they actually go through, and if they do, sometimes they are garbled. I find it most often happens when I send one to my wife who has an iPhone. Half of picture will be off center, or it will be completely distorted. The other times are when I'm in a group message. Those simply don't go through at all. I'm currently using the SwiftKey app. Could it be the app or is there something else I can try? TIA
This is a little late after your post was made, but if you haven't been yet, get the wings!

Galaxy S4 Help

Posted by SoggyNachos on 4/20/16 at 12:41 pm
I dropped my phone today and there's a crack in the screen and the screen is totally black and unresponsive. I can hear the text message notification going off, but I obviously cannot see anything. My question is, is there any way to connect to a computer to view the messages, contacts, etc. or am I out of luck? TIA
I'm definitely a Kodi newb, so please forgive any stupid questions. I have a Galaxy S4 and I'm trying to cast via Chromecast to my TV. I installed the Yatse remote and it will find the Chromecast, bring up the Yatse logo on the TV screen and attempt to load the movie and then it goes blank.

I also tried to use the Bubble UpNp player. Again, it comes up on the TV screen, but once I try to play anything, I get an error message.

I'm guessing that I may have something configured wrong, or that my Chromecast doesn't support whatever file type it is that Kodi is trying to stream. I'm fairly certain that the Chromecast is the first one that came out and I know my phone isn't the latest and greatest. Can someone tell me if I just need to upgrade my player or is there some configuration that I can check/change to make it work? TIA.

Does anyone know which BBQ sauce they use for their pulled pork at the Zephyrs games? TIA

Click the messaging icon as if you're going to send a message. Then click the menu button on the bottom left of your phone and the settings will be at the bottom. Click that and you should find your group message info. Hope this helps.

Dinner Recs in DC

Posted by SoggyNachos on 6/18/15 at 9:26 pm
Search came up empty, so if this has already been answered, my apologies. Looking for a nice dinner place in DC. It will be 3 couples, and the ladies will probably not be willing to try anything "weird," meaning things like fois gras, escargot, sweetbreads, etc. Maybe a good steak or seafood place, with a few options for those a little more adventurous? I've read several recommendations on various websites, but nothing just jumps out at me. TIA  :geauxtigers:

Kinda depends. On the side at first, but if it becomes what I hope it can, then a career. Why do you ask?

Bob Brooks vs. Burk Baker

Posted by SoggyNachos on 6/4/13 at 2:30 pm
Did a search and found a thread from 2008, but it only had one response. Thinking about getting my real estate license, but I'm not sure if one of these schools is better than the other. I will be doing the online class, and Bob Brooks is a little more expensive, but he claims that his class provides audio and power point explanations rather than just words on a page that you have to read and study. From what I have heard, and what I can review on his website, it appears that Burk Baker is just that, words on a page, but he seems to be the more popular choice. Has anyone had any experience with either of these and can maybe give some advice one way or another. TIA
