I am infatuated with this guy because he is the new talented animal of the game. I get he is laser focused on an NFL gig, but the youthful, chess master grasp he has on the game is something that can have a long tenure.

Paired with a true defensive leader at DC, that’s hard to beat.

I've seen it mentioned once or twice (ha!) that he doesn't like to recruit.

He will have no interest in this job at all. He will be getting NFL HC jobs soon. He does not want to recruit. He is an NFL guy.

What he did here was remarkable. He schooled Saban in his own house and made it look easy.

But he will be a NFL HC.

Yeah. I knew about the Chip Kellyesk aversion to recruiting…….but, he knows the new breed of offense so well.

LSU should not hire someone who hasn't proven to be a competent head coach at the highest level. Period. That is the standard now.

Which he will use in the NFL as a HC.

He is going to be an NFL HC at the end of this year or next at the latest. He is an NFL guy and isn't remotely interested in coming back to college. He doesn't like recruiting and all of the booster shite that comes with the college job. No amount of money will change that.

I get that also. Proven HC commodity or bust.

Just sense Brady is the real deal.

I think we put too much emphasis on 2019 being all Joe Brady. The guy had the most talent on one team in pretty much CFB history. We have no idea what he would do with the players LSU currently has or lesser talent in CFB. He could still be amazing but just the amount of talent LSU had could be the reason for most the success.

Agreed. But he is going to be the real deal somewhere else unfortunately.
