Damn I turned it on right when we lost the first sets in 4&5 and almost turned it back off. Glad i left it on to see those comebacks. Looks like a pretty fun atmosphere with a dominating LSU crowd.

I became a huge fan watching the 2nd dual on Friday versus Stetson. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it.
I just brought a 32" TV out of the 3rd bedroom into the LR. When the 1, 2 and 3's start I am going to watch ESPN2 on the TV and stream the other matches.
I used to just watch for the scenery. Now I watch for the play.

It’s somewhat similar to golf in that you have 5 matches going on at once. You slot in at #1, #2, etc and each team’s #1s matchup and their #2s and so on through 5s. First team to win 3 matches wins the duel.
So you have 10 players playing at once plus you have alternates and then you have other girls competing internally to get playing time, etc. so that’s why you have about 20 players on the team. The bottom players may not play in a match all year but they are matching up in practice and are also there for injury and of course to improve to get on the court in future years.

On campus now. LSU just built a new BV complex with multiple courts. Pretty sure it was just completed this year.

Only an official NCAA championship since 2016.
USC (twice) and UCLA (once) have won. FSU (twice) and Pepperdine (once) have been runners up.
I’m wondering how long it will take for other SEC schools to start adding teams, namely Florida. U of SC is the only other SEC team (I think).

I know we’ve been in 3 years. I think I heard Ronnie Rantz say only other SEC team is USC east.
Also think there are only 50 teams around the country.

Why isn’t BVB HC not coaching LSUVB? He did not waste years establishing his program and VB does not seem to get better with that lady who has been mediocre for 20 YEARS!!!
Why do we allow this waste of money for so long? We actually have competent minor sports coaches who compete for championships RIGHT AWAY!! Why allow systematic incompetency???
