The roster in its current shape is perfectly fine to compete this year.

The last two seasons had two starters lost to seasom ending injuries andpersonal issues. Hopefully this year's team will not have the same misfortune, but if they did it would leave 6 players.

It's been done before. It was a staple of the Jim Crow South to suppress the black vote.

Why not have a poll tax too?

Your post is factually incorrect and besides Wade’s teams have been able to withstand losing starters and key players so we’ll be fine.

Right on time , there he is. There are 8 players currently signed, assuming all of the foreign players are cleared and show up. A couple of injuries like the past two years and they are down to six layers so hopefully the potential fith year players are elgible.

Two years ago they lost starters Jalen Reed and Tyrell Ward. Lasst year Reed and Dedan Thomas.

The only key player Wade lost for extended time is Adam Miller and he wasn't left with six players like he would be if he does not add any more before the season.

As I said before this is all false.

Tyrell Ward was not on the 2024-25 roster. The last game he played for LSU was in March of 2024, 3 seasons ago. Here is the 24-25 roster. LINK
So like I said, factually incorrect

Jalen Reed did not start a single game last season and has started fewer than half the games he played in his 4 seasons at LSU. Here’s the stats proving it. LINK

So again another false claim

The third claim is a mishmash of silly wishcasting and false statements. First Wade has lost many players to injury for extended periods and lost one who passed away tragically that all LSU fans remember and morn. Of course you forgot or never considered him because, well we know why. This group includes Sims, Daryl Edwards, Charles Manning, Marlon Taylor, Shareef O’Neal, Adam Miller and again he continued to win. Comparing NCAA tourney appearances to losing 85% of your games isn’t an honest comparison to begin with which is why I said “we’ll be fine.” You don’t want that to happen so these facts upset and anger you but they’re facts nonetheless. As far as your weird scenario where we only have 6 players, that’s just a catastrophe fantasy of yours. No sensible person believes that’s a real concern. So again factually incorrect with some insane wish casting mixed in.

Where are you getting 4?

The below is 8. Doesn’t include RJ Luis which would be 9. Did I miss something?

-Mo Dioubate (Kentucky)
-Marcio Santos ( International / Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv)
-Divine Ugochukwu (Michigan State)
-Abdi Bashir Jr. (K-state)
-Austin Nunez (UTSA)
-Saliou Niang ( International / Virtus Bologna)
-Brice Dessert ( International / Anadolu Efes)
-Michael Ruzik (International / Joventut Badalona)

Wade. Derangement. Syndrome.

Unfortunately as of today, there is no cure.

Ward was on the roster and was practicing with the team until he left right before the start of the season. There wre even a couple of videos of him interviewing Curtis Givens and Vyctorious Miller.

Reed was brought along slowly early last season while hec recovered from his knee injury. You know damn good and well he was going to start ahead of Tamba until his injury..

Sims ( Wayde not Wade) only started a handful of games his freshman season. In fact, none of the players you mentioned were full time starters.

As I have often stated I support every LSU coach in every sport and want them to have successful seasons and win championships. Will wade is no different. The only point I was making is that its very difficult when you lose two starters, and its even worse when you only have 8 players Hopefully they will avoid the injury bug and very succesful season,
