LSU needs to put forth at least a little effort if they really want thousands of small money NIL donors. What they're doing now is pathetic.

And we all know someone from the athletic department is tasked to fine tooth comb this board. OP has a novel idea. Listen to the people!

True, but the alumni association gives you yhe option when incentives are on the table.

I honestly just dont see the point of donating my hard earned money to pay college athletes. I’ll just keep my money for myself and my family.

That’s how I feel. And that’s how many if not most LSU fans feel. But those of us who feel this way really oughta understand that a smaller player payroll will mean a less talented team. It takes money to win.

I sent 3 people with TAF, who is middling this for Bayou Traditions, an email last Wednesday complaining about the same thing. Crickets. Nada. No response.

Tell LSU to act like they give a damn if they want a successful football program.

Man, you don’t remember Scott paying all that money for video boards in NYC projecting that we were NILSU?

Waste of fricking money and a fantasy built off two irrelevant sports having hot chicks that got big money.

LSU absolutely dropped the ball on NIL for football and now it’s continuing to fumble it. This is just vintage LSU, other teams had a light show for years, we finally get one and it looks like dog shite instead of like anyone else’s.

We are always days late and way under quality.

How hard would it be to make a functioning website with an easy donation system? How hard would it be to crank out QR codes and have them around tailgates and gates at the stadium that go to the nil page. I was just in St. Aug and their cathedral had figured out QR codes.

Austin Thomas was supposed to to come in and fix this, not sure how 1 year later instead of looking exactly like ole miss we have this temu version of what ole Miss has.

No thanks to being pandered when at the game. Get that enough while driving to it.

Here is your problem. Media buys and fundraising are two completely different animals.

No one is forcing you to scan it. It’s absolutely smart business to have it all around during game day while people are tailgating.

You want people to donate, you talk to them or make it easy to do while they are around.

A smart move would be take the golden girls, cheerleaders and others out and about and get them to help drive donations.

LSU is the most uncreative and slow to react place in the country. Scott had NILSU videos made and acted like we were ahead of the game, then blames everyone else screaming the state tied his hands up and didn’t allow us to build our collective. No other school thought NIL would really be NIL and the Texas, Texas AM, bama, Ohio state and even ole Miss weren’t caught flat footed like us.

At least we have the moral high ground though and we tried to use NIL like it was written, not like the clear path it was going to take.

LSU has never been good at marketing and getting donations. There was a time period where TAF had it pretty locked down but it looks like they have lost the way.

You can deduct the difference between the donation amount and the market value of the item/service.

What a stupid arse response. He wants to but they don’t make it simple. It’s a completely valid complaint.

Dude they give you the opportunity to give one time. You can go in once a month and make payment or put in total in one payment. Stop bitching

Why would it be too hard for LSU to just make a damn functioning website that is easy to use? You want people to give money you should make it as easy as possible.

I like the way you think, I share the same sentiments. If you want us to donate, give us a good reason instead of a "Thank You for your donation", hell, I'd rather give my money to other charitable causes at least they are happy you sent your donation.

yeah kind of sucks but its just such a dumb, broken system

You have a coach making 10+ mil a year up at the podium, hat in hand, telling people they need to help pay for talent. I get its what must be done if you want to compete but I also don't blame anyone disgusted with the situation and not wanting to participate

at least when donating to TAF to build facilities you were seeing what you were paying for. This is just a slush fund to throw at an 18 year old that may or may not suck or could transfer out in a year.

This is a weird thing to want to get.

And like I've said in other threads, have you brought this up to the website or called anyone about it? Or did you just come on here to bitch and not donate? Call someone and do something about it. Maybe there's a reasoning behind what they are doing. Maybe they don't know it's an issue.
