I believe this is false. The website states that payments made to bayou traditions collective are not considered charitable donations.

Right. NIL donations are not tax deductible. That's why they're is no restriction on what awards or privileges LSU can offer donors.

Yea. I think the website mentions that donations may count for TAF points or something. But hell they could give something to make it enticing.

Like the charities that send a picture of the family you are feeding.

or get a happy birthday video message from Whit Weeks or whoever. Something

I would gladly bump up my monthly contribution if they threw in a bonus like this. I’m pretty lonely.

CBK makes +$9M a year.

Reduce his salary and give it to the players.

Sure. Give me a signed photo of the players with their lambos.

I don’t care what they do. The photograph was tongue in cheek obviously. But the fact remains that if they have some (even cheesy) incentives it would be cooler than just getting nothing.

And they likely have some really cool incentives they could dream up that wouldn’t cost them much if anything to implement.

I'd put that $100 monthly into a mutual fund for the next 30 years.....at the end it would be worth about $350K.

I completely agree. How much less could they possibly do to get money?

It's amazing to me just how stupid some fans are.

A t-shirt is $5 when mass produced and pays for itself in advertising.

They don't have their stuff together at all.

Let people set up monthly never ending contributions and give them a $5 shirt.

This isn't complicated. Incentivize new sign ups.

Hell, come up with a referral program.

It's not illegal. It may break some kind of ncaa rule - but those are hardly enforceable anymore. We are on the brink of revenue sharing..

Instead of asking the fans to pay up, schools need to reign in their ridiculous spending - such as the coaches who make millions upon millions. Most of that money should be going to the players.

Ole Miss is way ahead on all this, they have tons of small donors.

But we have more fans who refuse to give a cent. We will show them !!

Louisiana is one of the poorest states in the union. You wanted the NIL, it’s like 1989 all over again.

You could be entered into a drawing for game used items like gloves, cleats, etc.

Sideline pass

Stadium club tickets for a SEC game….something!
