The fact that you don't know how stupid you are is refreshing

Does Baylor have better talent than LSU? Can LSU run that offense or are they not good enough?
ok. i'll bite holy trolly.
2015 vs texas tech
baylor - 680 total yds - 368 rush - 312 pass -
score 63-35 defense gave up 636 yds to tech.
yards per play - 8.9
LSU - 638 total yds - 377 rush - 261 pass -
score 56-27 defense gave up 399 yds to tech.
yards per play - 10.3
so we outrushed baylor. had 1.4 more yards per play and gave up 237 less yards on defense.
solid analysis on your part.

So your argument is that the big 12 has good defenses?

Theres a team in the SEC that plays Big12, Baylor style ball. It's A&M
I don't care about Big12 football. I like what Baylor does though.. and A&m is not known as a great run team so I don't know if I agree with that comparison.
I'd like to know where a&m ranks in terms of rushing offense?
LSU would dominate a Northwestern St every bit as much though, probably more.. so no need to get too excited over tonight's 55-7 win. However, I really do like their distribution in the box score.

I like the 4 tds passing, yet tons of carries between the backs split and then the backup QB highly efficient. You can do this versus an inferior opponent!. but both QBs being efficient is nice.
But even a not so good LSU team can light up a box score vs an inferior opponent. This was 2014 vs NM st

Harris was highly efficient with 5 total TDS, 3 passing, 2 rushing.. That was awesome.

Why not score points? Isn't that the point of the game?
They scored 17 points on Texas
21 on TCU
they don't fair well against anything besides air.
The Big 12 is a video game league.
best rush defense in the league? Oklahoma as 42. There are 6 SEC teams in the top 25 rushing defenses. 4 on our schedule.

Who in their right mind would not want that type of explosive offense along with the Def we have?
Have you ever wondered why these fast high flying offenses ALWAYS have below average defenses? Really think about it for a second. Texas tech, oregon, baylor, aTm, etc.
Then the slower, more methodical offensive teams usually have the best defenses? Bama, lsu, mich st, stanford.
Could it be that the defense relies on the offense to shorten the game and keep them from getting run to death, because the other team has more possessions?
And one more question...why don't all talented teams run the baylor offense, since it's obviously productive?

I'm more interested in a balance between offense and defense. Teams like Ohio st, clemson, Florida st
We don't need to put up 70 against NW Cuba college to make the stay sheet look good.
You guys need to think a little deeper about this stuff.

This thread is about BAYLOR.
It's about LSU, that played a team from Baylor's conference that had a higher rated offense.
Now, when that high rated offense played LSU, LSU looked to have the better offense, why is that?
Because LSU plays defense.

I don't mean to run the same exact shite. Mix in some dynamic plays and run it when you go up tempo sometimes. During that up tempo stretch we can run some spreads with one back sets and LF would have less defenders in the box and break off huge gains.
Don't want to run that exclusively, just keep the def guessing and have more to show than 1 WR sets and a bunch of TE. Especially on 3rd down where even my dead grandma knows what the next play is.
But the guy had his stats correct as Baylor played better defenses in those 5-6 teams they played compared to the 5-6 teams we played, and there were 4 SEC teams in those stats.

Our offense is a gimmick. I fricking hate it and I hate how it makes people think that the offensive talent there is NFL ready.
I'd much rather run a more traditional power running game like LSU does.

They did not. Baylor had more points and yards.
