What does that have to do with anything?

I'm not a doctor... but it could have impeded his 2025 performance. Just a hunch.

NFL teams may be a little more concerned about the cyst on the spine than you think and how that may effect his ability to twist his core and extend the arm and throw the ball in the future.

Not to mention he is like a statue with little ability or awareness to move in the pocket.

Yeah, probably. Doesn't change the fact he's not good at football.

That cyst in his back wasn't make him take 4 steps back at the slightest bit of pressure or constantly throw off the backfoot when he's a senior.

why is this a surprise

nuss isn't good
It's a surprise because while Nuss has been bad to terrible, he's got a few highlights from his career.

Sharp? I honestly can't think of more than one. He drops probably over a third of the balls that hit him for an incompletion, then drops maybe a quarter of his completions for fumbles. And he sucked blocking. Not really sure what "potential" you're trying to tap there.

Bauer Sharp isn't a very good TE IMO. And I've seen him throw a pass in 2024 game for OU vs LSU...not a good QB either.

I wonder how surprised embarrassed or humiliated he is right now having not been picked yet. He can always sign a free agent contract and get a try out.

The NFL knows Nuss is garbage just like realistic LSU fans did.

He may NOT get drafted

OU fans were pretty glad to get rid of him. I remember he had a turnover in our 2024 game against OU too and reading the OU boards after that game (before he ever transferred here so it wasn't sour grapes because of that) they were singling him out hoping he wouldn't be on their team the next year because he had 1 or 2 plays like that every game according to them, which also happened when he was at LSU.

I mean maybe something clicks for him under NFL coaching, we'll see. But his two years in the SEC there have been way more in the bad column than the good, way more of a liability than an asset. Definitely seemed like he belonged at Southeastern where he started

Good luck to him but I don't think it's hyperbole to say he's one of the worst TEs I can ever remember at LSU. He's definitely top 5. This guy always stood out to me on film if you watched games again because like Davis, he was almost always doing something wrong even when the ball was nowhere near him. I would see him do stupid things like he'd run a route and then on scramble for a QB he'd drift right into defensive zones which is why Nuss wouldn't throw his way.

He was like a workout warrior or something and just a straight up bad football player.

That’s a wasted pick.

Sharp with the catch. Oh no, he fumbled!

Sharp the turnstile at TE just gave up another sack!

I wish the Bucs were a stock. I’d short the hell out of them. Todd Bowles has to be scratching his head at what his GM is doing here.

They have more Lombardis than we do or anyone in the division for that matter, we have no room to gloat.
