Jay Williams is wrong. Ben doesnt need to score if everyone around him is. Just gather attention then distribute the ball and let the shooters knock em down.

They're focusing their defensive efforts on Simmons so that leaves other players in better positions to make plays. Id like to see Ben dominate too, but he's playing within himself. Will need him to be ready when the moment comes, though.

Yep. I love the fact ben isn't selfish when other guys are scoring but I hate when he's not selfish when no one else can make a shot

His tirade was more from an LSU scout perspective, not a team game perspective. If the team is playing well around him, making 7-12 3s then Ben doesn't need to "take control". If the team struggles, then yes, your best player should assert himself.

Simmons completely changes the spacing on the floor and creates opportunities for open three pointers. Hence over 50% from beyond the arc.
