Martins dunk was stupid and selfish in a close game. Quarterman should have gotten the and 1. Screw the officiating on some of these calls. Jones again failing to adjust during florida's run. The last timeout worked but in no way was the play jones called run. Florida switched to a zone on the play. Credit the players for adjusting and for Martin hitting a big shot at the buzzer.

It still astonishes me we can't lineup on a baseline out of bounds play and inbound the ball in the front court without having to have someone chase it down all the way in the backcourt. I've seen biddy basketball plays planned and executed better.

Bottom line is that this team is shitty in the half court...all phases of half court basketball. There are numerous examples of this throught the season. Close games become half court games at the end and the entire NCAA tournament is mostly half court basketball. LSU has proven they can run with the best of them, but until they quit sucking at the fundamentals of the half court game, they will never be a real threat...this is what worries me about next season also.

Our team in a nutshell. Like the halftime announcer said, we have poor guard play. Until that improves, we won't be a consistent threat to do much.

Totally agree with all of your post. Someone a few games ago figured out how to trap quarterman on the pick and roll. He's a turnover machine now on that set. The problem is fundamentals as you mentioned. The passing is terrible and soft allowing the defense to recover. If we actually get a shot off before turning the ball over its usually not a high percentage one and/or an out of control one.

9 turnovers and getting out-rebounded.
