the best thing to do with uk is to grind out possessions. good ball movement and zone them on d.

Singing day has not come yet....wait my friend, I bet UK snags a top 3 class and #1 in 2011.

Trent has no horses in the barn...going to take a couple of years to get out of Brady's mess.

Yeah we wouldn't get our asses kicked by putting in those guys to run up and down the floor.

They don't match up in half court offense or defense using the current scheme. This year is done, because you don't just start running. You have to prepare for it before the season.

yep, I would milk the shot clock under 10 every offensive possession. UKs half court offense is average at best. If you don't let them run you can stay in the game.

how embarassing is this. this is the worst lsu bb team ever. we look like a high school team. this is what happens when you do not sign one sec caliber player in two years. turn on oklahoma game and watch tommy mason griffin who we had coming here when jb got fired, way to go LSU firing brady set this program back five years. I will say it again marcus thornton made tj look like a genius.

problem is there are (maybe) only 2 d-1 players on this team... no leadership on the floor... 6 for 32 shooting from the floor won't win too many games!

i really like the class he is bringing in. of course since they all aren't five star players like we get in football LSU fans are convinced to high hell that trent cant recruit.

We have one talented play and a team of little talent- , TJ knows this- he had decided to play out the season and use it and one great big practice session- its his choice and his decision- we may disagree- but the gets paid to make that decision.

This team is beyond undisciplined. I cannot imagine that TJ does not discuss basics like blocking out, shot selection, etc- we have a bunch of young kids who all think they are on the playground and so far they have not figured out the coach knows more than them

No doubt UK will get the money out there to get the players to come. I wonder if Cal is using the same bag men he used at Memphis?

W2

That is the dumbest statement of the day and THAT is pretty amazing. Up tempo has NOTHING to do with whether you are in better shape...it is simply about players and making decisions in transition...Bo Spencer is a poor man's 2 guard and is a terrible decision maker in transition. Therefore turnovers are likely...of course when he starts jacking shots...that is just another form of a turnover.

LSU has 1 or 2 D1 players (right now) we have some talent but not the likes of Wall, and COusins who might be the #1 OVERALL NBA player taken. Compare Cousins to any of our guys,,,not even close.

So please, quit talking about transition game and we should run...we would be down 60-4 if we decided to run with these guys.

tommy no longer wanted to come to LSU. morgan wanted out of his LOI BEFORE brady was fired. rnadolph was gone regardless. but yeah firing a guy who completely bombed two seasons in a row after a final four was a mistake. good post .

We will see. It doesn't look that likely this season. I'm not knocking the talent this season - obviously it is some of the best in the country. But next season - everything making Kentucky good right now will be gone, and you will have to look to other guys already on the club to step up. Next season Kentucky will not be competing for a 1 seed - I am confident in that.

LSU will be much improved next season. We have a very strong class coming in. Also Ole Miss transfer White is going to play next season - and that should help some. Most importantly though, there is no where for us to go from here except up.

Because we lost 1 player?......for all we know Griffin would have left in one year with Brady as coach.

watch it Ranttard, you had an assistant football coach that was playing dirty...and how you forget about Dale and the dirty primary care doctor that liked the play the game.

UK has a compliance office that makes the headquarters in Indy look weak....Ms. Bell works a tight ship.
