The refs have been bad
1) Point of emphasis this year is allowing ball movement, the guy dribbling can't be dogged, hand checked, bodied up
2) Ben was pushed at the foul line no call, tap back foul
3) Couple obvious fouls on LSU shooters
Hopefully they get better in the 2nd half
An that swipe by ESPN was bs LSU is on pace for plus 70 with Ben out most of the first half.

Benny playing the last ten minutes of the first half is way less important than him playing the last three minutes of the second half.

He obviously doesn't need to play 40 minutes, but it's asinine to reduce the minutes of the best player in the gym for fear of his minutes being reduced. I realize this is an unpopular opinion and I realize coaches have stupid rules about this.
Coaches also have dumbass conventional wisdom about punting and FGs.

Kentucky is going to go one a run. LSU needs to keep this game right around a 5-7 point lead around the 10 minute mark and we will be right there at the end

Agreed.
Blakeney has done very well on Murray. I believe he's only 2/7 so far tonight. And it's not like he's just missing open shots either. Blakeney is forcing him to take contested and tough shots. Doing a very good job.
