Johnny has always sat players who have 2 fouls in the first half. A lot of coaches do. If the rest of the team wouldn't have played as well as they did he would have put him back in. Instead they played great he didn't pick up a 3rd foul and he is fresh for the second half. If you see a downside in that then you need to not watch this team anymore.

Got to love the defensive effort so far. UK may have sucked first half, but the LSU defense pressure was top notch as well. That's a key for us.

All you're doing is accomplishing the same thing as him fouling out, by lowering his expected minutes. I don't care what happened with how shitty Kentucky played and we had Aaron Epps knock down a couple of 3s. He obviously doesn't need to play 40 minutes, but it's asinine to reduce the minutes of the best player in the gym for fear of his minutes being reduced. I realize this is an unpopular opinion and I realize coaches have stupid rules about this.
Coaches also have dumbass conventional wisdom about punting and FGs.
