When is Taylor due back?
I guess Cooper and Thomas are just practice bodies? Thomas averaged less than 7ppg in JUCO and Cooper wasn't much better in JUCO.

Taylor they want to get minutes against East Tennessee State coming up in a couple weeks.

Cooper is basically a warm body, yes.

Thomas is not cleared to play medically, like Taylor.

Getting Taylor back adds depth at two spots.

Taylor coming back and Bishop keep getting work should help in some of that regard.

Cooper is athletic but he's got John Odo's hands.

lol at John Odo.

We need to find minutes somehow for Cooper. He's 6'9" he's got to be able to at least block shots and dunk the basketball.

Losing Naz and Bigby hurt badly.

It really does. It seems the only guys over 6-6 Wade trusts are Days, Williams and Watford and Watford is the biggest at 6'7. I thought at least Cooper could give 10 minutes a game and pick up a dunk and a few rebounds and fouls. Seems like he's not even trusted for that?
Everyone's bench gets longer come February-March but looks like we will be playing 7-8 players from the jump. Thanks NCAA and Alleva!

You cant teach es 6'9 with athleticism, but Cooper looks like a deere in the headlights out there.

If Cooper makes as much progress this season as Williams and Days did last season, he will be asset next year.
He has blocked shots each time I have seen him play.

That is the one problem I have with Will Wade. He doesn't use players outside of his chosen rotation. It would be nice in all these garbage games to see if Cooper could provide something. I really don't need to see Smart and Hyatt throwing up 3's when we all know the results.
