I would love to have season tickets. I would pay the TAF fees and ticket prices ($2k for 2) but I'm not paying crazy prices on SeatGeek.

I'm currently buying about 13-15 games a season on the ticket exchange when they announce the tickets are going on sale. It's usually 10 games that are mid-week and 3-5 games on the weekend. It's the most cost affect way I could get tickets ahead of time. I take my dad who is 80 years old and needs to plan in advance to attend. Otherwise, I would purchase 1 hour before game time for mid-week games when people are desperate to get some money for unused tickets.

They could open a second level of seating at the press box level and sell those out easily.

I'm genuinely curious, do tickets usually sell for more or less than face on seat geek or other 3rd party sellers?

Games played against non-con teams on weekends prior to the SEC season go for twice as much as face. Sometimes 3 times as much on Friday or Saturday nights.

SEC weekend Friday and Saturday night games sell for 3-4 times face value. Sunday SEC games doubled to 3 times as much. For the Tennessee series this year, 4-5 times face value.

Very difficult to sell non-con week night games. Those you just give away.

They’re actually below face value on the secondary market sometimes.

They're hard enough to get that I moved away for 6 years and kept them. I love my seats and the people in my section.

Had them before and gave them up. Tried again this year with no luck! Kind of hard when people are allowed to get up to 12 tickets per account depending on TAF.

Not often does this happen and it depends on the location. For example, last week alone this was the price of "prime bleachers" tickets

$3 Tuesday
$15 Friday
$15 Saturday
$12 Sunday

The donation amount is $80 for the whole season for those seats.

After we won in 2023 that number is no longer nearly good enough I’m at 5000 point ranking now not even a sniff. And of course they will be outfield bleachers when or if you had a chance to get them. Regular people can’t hardly get them it’s big time money now. I was able to purchase grandstand seats this year from a person who already has them and can’t go for whatever reason for the same price as he paid from LSU. He is a fine gentleman don’t know his reasons but I’m extremely thankful if even for one season. Bunches of people or businesses own more seats than they can fill but they got the money. That’s all lsu is worried about.

In short, it’s not going to happen lol. You’ll have to come up with 50k for a shot at the grandstand. It’s not a true waiting list, they just do it to show face imo.

so those ticket holders are losing money on those tickets.

You need a better CPA. These people are not losing money.

Demand for baseball season tickets has always been very high and after the NC in 2023 I can only imagine the list has become longer.

Grandstand seat renewal has been 100% the last 5 years. I know someone that donates over 100K per year to the alumni association and he can’t get season tickets in his name. He gets tickets but they aren’t in the same spot every game. People that have them like me usually had a parent that has had them and transferred. My dad bought our seats in 1988 with a parking pass. I transferred to myself. There isn’t turnover in the tickets. It’s only 6500 or so grandstand seats. The demand greatly outweighs the supply.

This is so disheartening. I will likely die before season tickets are available in the grandstand unless there is massive expansion of the stadium with a second level / upper deck grandstand.

For starters, your buddy is donating to the wrong organization. Needs to donate to TAF if he wants tickets.

I personally now two people who gave up grandstand season tickets this year. LSU kept them. A total of 8 tickets that are used for player tickets instead of selling to new season ticket holders.

I have had 2 baseball season tickets since 1991.
My seats are in the green GS. I usually attend 2 weekend series games and sell most of the other tickets. The total cost of my 2 seats is $2k. Every year I make back at least half of the cost of the tickets. LSU baseball season tickets are the best value in college sports. 2 of us could attend 35 home games in the grandstand at one of the greatest venues watching one of the top teams for only $2k. Not only that but the tickets are in such demand that some can be sold for 5-10 times the face value. I sold my Saturday Alabama tickets for $125 each and could have gotten more but I put them up for sale just a couple of days before the game.

I'll make a deal with you for next season. Let me buy all those pesky mid-week games for reasonable price. Then give me first shot at purchasing the weekend tickets before you put them on the market. Or sell me all the tickets minus whatever weekends you want to keep.

Yep same I would buy your entire season give you your couple games you wanted to see back to ya. If more people did that we could have butts in seats. I see tons of empties all over the place everytime I’m there and same ones are empty all the time.
