Too early to look at but based on Jay's comments and scrimmage performances: Arrambide at C, Serna at 1st/C/DH, Ruckert at SS, Pearson at 1st/3rd, Braun at RF/1B/DH, Patrick at CF, and Harden in LF (I think he's got another year)

I think Clauss is the heir apparent at short, with Ruckert at one of the other IF spots.

But for the most part, without portal additions, that's what it would look like. We have some insanely talented recruits in the incoming class. I do think that Serna and Braun make their presence known this year, combining with Arrambide to create a middle of the order nucleus to build on for 2027.

I could see this. I could see LSU ending up 3rd behind arky too. And still going farther than either in the postseason.

I thought Texas was a good club last year but I didn't think they were 22 wins in the SEC good. Just seemed like they had a lot of things go their way to get to those 22 wins. Obviously they were exposed in the regionals to a directional school.

I really like our non-conference schedule this year. While I'm not thrilled about adding a third SWAC program to the schedule, Bethune Cookman is expected to win the league and usually stacks up a lot of wins.

Creighton always competes in the Big East. Northeastern should finish near the top, if not win, the CAA which is threatening to become a multi bid league annually.

McNeese will compete near the top of their league. They have a senior outfielder named Larry Edwards Jr that has around 1000 plate appearances between JUCO, Summer, and D1 play and has hit everywhere. He'll be a fun guy to track this year and into the draft/UDFA season.

We finally have Tulane back on the schedule. An away game at ULL. A good LaTech team. A decent Kent St state team.

We're going to drum some teams and make it look like we're playing scrubs. And then they're going to go win a lot of games.

Excited to sweep Paul to all but clinch a top 8 seed.

Is this the starting lineup?

C - Cade Arrambide
1B - Zach Yorke
2B - Seth Dardar
SS - Steven Milam
3B - Trent Caraway
OF - Chris Stanfield LF, Derek Curiel CF, Jake Brown RF
DH - Brayden Simpson

SP - Casan Evans, Cooper Moore, Cooper Williams
RP - William Schmidt, Jaden Noot, Zac Cowan

FWIW i dont like having two SPs names Cooper.

Not sure who plays 2B. Likely a matchup deal. Dardar has been seeing time at 3B more. Braun has to get playing time. Not sure how. We have way more relief pitching than you mentioned.

Wouldn't be surprised if Serna carved out a role more than back up catcher at DH also. Not predicting it, but he can mash

He will likely only hit when he plays due to the nature of needing a backup catcher healthy.

Yeah but I wouldn’t be surprised if Schmidt, or Noot, or even Cowan moves in the starting rotation over one of the Cooper boys.
Cowan definitely has starting material but he’s really effective in a long relief role.
Schmidt and Noot definitely have SP stuff too. Just have had control issues.
Only time will tell but if it all plays out well, should be a heck of a season either way.

Walk on John Shahrdar is no longer showing on the roster. Nik McClaughry is no longer showing on the coaching staff.
