thanks for the repsonse. With a young/new pitching staff, I think this is something to pay attention to. Agree that all will see plenty of time and all add value differently. Thaks for this thread and your breakdowns.

The Travinski Truthers are back and expecting a minimum of 20 truth bombs.

ared Jones .... His power tool is about as good as it gets at the collegiate level, every time he makes contact it’s generally loud and does a good job creating lift.
When he connects, it's a thing of beauty. I'm hoping he has worked out the off-speed issues b/c it will be fun watching his bombs.

I wonder if Adam knows how many times Jones has hit a ball over 110 mph…

I'll argue for no reason if you just want to. But I like today's position preview.
On another note, I'd like to punch the dipshits that are downvoting your posts preemptively.

What's the answer? It's not zero

Nope. Not zero. He had a few last year. One went 450 ft that was wind aided. He had none this past fall. His two hardest hit balls were a single and a groundout.

How many magicians and pirate queens can there be?

I was only able to track down 13 of the 14 HR's on trackman.
Avg exit velocity 106.8 mph
Avg distance 407 ft

quote:Im sure if you averaged Trav’s, Dylan’s, Tommy’s, Jobert’s HRs they’d all have similar averages if not better. Dylan was averaging almost 100 mph on all BIP. Pretty crazy.

According to @LSUBaseballData Jones hit the only homerun last season which exceeded 114 MPH exit speed. Tommy White was second at 113.6.
Just for good measure...

Did not realize this
I can see him being one of the team leaders next season
