Thank you sir

Not going to lie I was kind of psyched to watch him hit bombs for next few years. Coaches must see a lot more potential on the mound

They want to groom him as a starter potentially losing Hess and Gilbert next year.

He has starter stuff and the thought at least right now is to 100% focus on getting him on the mound which LSU has the immediate need.

I was really hoping to see him play both ways some.

Purely from a selfish standpoint of it being cool as hell.

Those final grades don't add up. 45 seems low for Broussard if he's got 70 speed and 60 fielding

Broski, I don’t add them up and divide by 5 or use a specific formula.

First base returns a starter in Bryce Jordan with Jake Slaughter and Nick Coomes backing him up; both who have both played full seasons. It’s a deeper position as a whole and why I gave it a slightly above average grade.

Second base looks to be two new starters who both have great potential but are still raw. Broussard’s a great speedster with a great glove but there’s the chance that Hughes could take over and the reason for uncertainty lends a slightly below average grade.

I hope this answered your question

I know, but it still seems odd, that if Broussard has a 60 fielding and 70 speed, he'd be a 45 as a 2B.

And then the final rating for Bryce seems to be "greater than the sum of his parts" type thing, when he is coming back from a year off.

No, like I said “Broussard” is the not the final grade of 45 for second base. The grade of 45 is the overall makeup at 2nd base right now. If Broussard is subbed out early on in the year he’s not playing and hence the lack of emphasis putting the entire grade on Broussard.

First base the grade of 55 is not just “Bryce”. Bryce makes up a large percentage of the grade but you have Slaughter and Coomes waiting in the wings. Bryce has been a full go for months and is not limping into this year and thus my confidence with the grade.

Behind the game here and trying to catch up. What's the deal with Storz? I know he pitches but thought he was mentioned at 1st base for height and his bat at the plate.

Thanks in advance.

They’re focusing on getting him back on the mound this year. He’s way too far behind to split time hitting and the need is with his arm immediately.

I still want to see him try and play both but if they groom him to be a starter I doubt Mainieri’s going to want him playing everyday, I guess we’ll see.

I think Slaughter puts it all together this year. Kid has the talent to be scary good

I’m biased, but this lineup is stacked.

Kendall thinks they will finish 5th in the West. Ha

I don't think LSU is the 7th or 8th team in the SEC which that would equal to.

Something's gotta give in the West. Ole Miss, Miss St., LSU, and A&M are all in about the same position.

I do think Arkansas returns the most talent in the west they just got to put it all together.

If these are college equivalent grades, and not true scouting grades, Watson has 65-70 power. Cabrera is a 65 hitter. Duplantis has a 30 arm.

Cabrera is 80 across the board.

ETA: Probably the best OF in the nation...
