Both Cartwright and Newman have had bad outings already this year, so I still hold my breath when they're on the mound.
Every relief pitcher is going to have a bad outing here and there. It is the nature of the position. I think the bullpen will be fine once they all know exactly what their roles are come SEC play. Just the fact that when you show up to the ballpark and know exactly when and why you will come into the game can help a pitcher tremendously.

With all the new bats this year, my expectations for this team were just to make a regional (our national ranking was always ridiculous). So far, the hitting has pleasantly surprised, even though the opposition has been not great. Going .500 in the SEC would put us in decent shape.

The expectations of LSU baseball should be to host a regional and go to a super regional. That means you are one of the best 16 teams in the country. With the resources and talent they pull in every year that is not too much to ask. Once you get to the supers anything can happen and to expect Omaha and championships every year is ridiculous.

They keep hitting like they've been doing the past couple of weeks and they won't be sneaking long. They clubbed and SEC caliber pitcher pretty good last night. Lange will work out his issues like all great competitors do. This looks like a 40-45 win team at the very least by season's end.

so far I think you're right. IF these guys can hit SEC pitching this will be one fun team to watch.

You judge a baseball team by one game?

So sneaky that they purposely lost both games today just to be even more sneaky.

They may eventually sneak up on an SEC win.

From now on, I'm going strait to you for predictions.
Sneaky Good is a cool name for a race horse.
